I am glad I learned this lesson with a non crucile ressie.... I will make sure, if I need a Peak season ressie, that all my ducks will be in a row before I call!!!

I am going to make reservations at OKW at the 7 mo window for New Years. I will be making reservations for 3 rooms (2br and 2-studios) and I plan on making them 1 day at a time given I'm at the 7 mo window and it is peak season. I want to use 2002 points for the studios and borrow 2003 points for the 2 br. That way if one or two of the other families we are travelling with decide not to go, I can bank the 2002 points and not lose them. (I have a March use year and know my banking limits and time frames etc. Essentially, if they bail after 11/15, I'm screwed, but I can live with that risk).

But now, I'm concerned they won't let me book the 2 br with 2003 points if I haven't used all the 2002 points, which I won't until the last day that I book.

Do I have something to worry about? If I tell them I'm doing day at a time, will they let me book the 2br with 2003 points even though the 2002 won't be gone? Do I have to book the all rooms for the 2002 points until they run out and then rearrange everything after the reservation is complete? Help!!! - Now my head is getting ready to explode.

It was my understanding that the computer just can not handle that situation.... (I could be wrong and hopefully you can get them to change it)

Other wise you could always do what I did.... make up phantom ressies for your points and cancel them day by day to book. It is the LONG way around.... but it worked for me.
