I posted this on the restaurants thread when it should have gone here..

Okay so we are FINALLY going back. We went in 2009 and had to cancel 2010 bc of new job and relocation. I have put together a plan for dining. I wanted to try a few new places this time in addition to our favorites last time. We did Deluxe Dining before and will do it again.

The trip will be DH, me and DD (7 in August). We will be staying at BLT and will be there 10/14 -10/20. We have not ate at Chef Mickeys, Sci-Fi, Brown Derby, Tusker, Rainforest, Kona, Le Cellier, Coral Reef, or Tonys. Thoughts on the ADRs planned below? Too much food? Too many reservations? Not enough Signature? I'm open to all suggestions as this will most likely be my last chance as we probably won't go again to Disney for a very long time.

Some of the days looks like a lot... Lunch at Crystal Palace and Dinner at 1900 is 2 buffets, thats a lot of food. I would do a late breakfast at CP (9:30-10AM), and dinner at 1900 (maybe 5PM?) that way its spread out more, and you can use your snacks midday if you are hungry. And any day with 3 sit downs is way too much time getting to the ADR, waiting for table and actually sitting and eating. If this is your last chance for awhile, wouldnt you rather spend more time doing rides, swimming and fun stuff that you feel like doing at that moment?

We do the deluxe plan for the 1st half of our split stay, mainly so we can do dinner shows and one signature. We never eat 3 TS one day. We either do a late breakfast or early lunch and a dinner, or dinner show. Dining is a fun part of the disney experience, but its not the main reason we go to Disney world.

Some options on how to use your credits best and get the most time for other fun things:
- Character breakfast & then a signature dinner - either book a later breakfast, or an early dinner, and use your snacks when you get hungry in between, and if you have an early dinner, you can always grab a snack later.

- Use snack credits for breakfast and do lunch between 11:30-12:30, and a later dinner.

People think with the deluxe plan they are obligated to use every credit on TS, which of course to get the most value, you want to plan most of them that way, but on days you book a TS breakfast and dinner, you could always use 1 credit for a QS lunch, which you can get at any place thats convenient for you wherever you may be and will save a LOT of time. Disney does now have lots of great QS options.

No matter what, I would avoid 3 TS in one day.... That could mean 6 hours or more of your day devoted to eating!

I would limit yourself to 2TS a day. I think three is just too many.

But hey, that's my opinion.

When doing two TS a day.... I think an early breakfast and dinner. That way you still get your park time.
