Hi everyone!! Just got back from a 6 day trip. Dint want to bore everyone with the details so heres a quick summary:
Best food:
California Grill (Dinner) in the Contemporary
Cape May Cafe (Character Breakfast) in the Beach CLub
Worst Food:
Hand Down, the 50s Prime Time Cafe at MGM was HORRIBLE!!! Barely edible!! I would not recommend anyone going here!! Also Tonys at WDW Magic Kingdom was nothing to rave about. I am from New York and I am used to good Italian food so I'm pretty critical.
Hotel:
We stayed at the POR. Absolutley BEAUTIFUL!! I would recommend this place to anyone, unless you are not OK with walking long distances. THe pool was a blast wth a water slide. The river was beautiful. Food was OK, but better than most on the trip. We stayed in Magnolia Terrace. The room was very clean and the housekeepers always "tucked in" my sons stuffed animals when they made up the room. Two thumbs up!!!
Parks/ Rides
I couldnt believe it but my 5 year old went on space mountain, thuder mountain, test track, mission space, start tours, dinosaur, TOWER OF TERROR and LOVED THEM ALL!!! BUT, the Bugs Life show at Animal Kngdom FREAKED HIM OUT!!! HE started screaming and we had to leave. I heard that about this show but I thought he'd be OK. I think they need to town it down a bit. Fantasmic, Illuminatoins, and Wishes were all terrific. Favorite Park, probably Epcot. I just love the World Showcase.
Oh and by the way we rented a car. I would do the same if we go back. I wouldn't be able to deal with the whole bus thing.
