Thank youGood luck with your shoulder procedure. And it's really, really hard when your head just decides "nuh-uh", especially mid-race. Hope your revised plan works out.
Wishing you a speedy recovery! Tilly is gorgeousHi all
Last week got 4 runs done totalling 14 miles.
Really just enjoying being out there prior to a short hiatus following my shoulder surgery.
That was done yesterday and went well. I have 6 stitches in there which will be removed in 10 days so no running until then however dog walking duties will keep me active and I can supplement that by additional walk on treadmill if I feel the need.
Last week I decided to stop using run walk for anything under 4 miles as I feel I no longer need it it has just became a habit and to be honest it felt fine.
I will keep it for now for longer runs.
My recovery at the moment is sitting in the sunshine , with Tilly listening to 80s/90s rock![]()

Thank youI hope the shoulder heals well!
What kind of spaniel you have there? She looks similar to mine, but they do have a lot of pups that have the same looks. I have a Brittany Spaniel named Bella. Like yours, full of energy even after our runs! Hope you recovery goes well!ThanksShe is, a typical spaniel, unlimited energy, really loving and sometimes not the smartest

ThanksGlad the recovery is going well. I just went through some of my clothes this weekend. Finally got rid of a few running items that were literally hanging on by a thread. I did keep one pair of fleece leggings that need some minor repair but they’re my only pair for when it gets really cold. But before I fix those, I need to get my sewing machine repaired. It’s a never ending to do list sometimes.
Hope your recovery continues to go smoothly and your return to running is uneventful.
