AH! Guitar Hero! I forgot about that! Good one! I bet that's it. I have a teenage son too -but he's more into techno stuff vs. metal.(Really HOW DID THAT HAPPEN!?)

DD9 doesn't play/watch/hear any of the things listed above, yet somehow she started in with the beginning strains of Iron Man when she was about 4. DH and I nearly fell over laughing. When we joined in with her, she was amazed we knew it. All I can figure is that it was used on a commerical that ran on a kid's TV channel she watched.

When she would beg for something, DH would sing, "You can't always get what you want...." from the time she was a toddler. One day, The Rolling Stones came on the radio singing that song, so I turned it up. She said in a surprised voice, "Hey, they know Daddy's song!"
