Today I am gathering together clothes for donation, and I had a big black permanent marker in my pocket to mark the bags. It fell out of my pocket when I sat down for a moment but I didn't realize it.

I see my DS kind of crouching down and CLEARLY looking suspicious. I called his name and when he turned to me his entire nose and upper lip were black with permanent marker. (not to mention both hands). I thought of leaving it on while we go get his sister from school as punishment. He could stand there like some demented black nosed little mouse with a big swirly 'stash... Naaah. I couldn't.

Soap and water didn't work...but baby oil took it all off perfectly in a few seconds!

He did! And now I'm trying to remember who exactly. I think "Dastardly and Muttly" are coming to mind.

It was even funnier because he clearly thought he was getting away with some great thing. When I showed him his nose and 'stash in the mirror, he said NO and started to cry. The big pen is not so cool now, huh mister?

I do hope you took PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

FYI, black eyeliner makes lovely mustaches. DS was on a Sportacus (hero from Iceland's LazyTown show on Sprout) kick for, oh, a good year or two, and he had many many eyeliner mustaches.

So just in case your guy wants the look without difficulty (I have never even owned baby oil since I owned my last pair of black patent leather shoes!), eyeliner.

Back in the late 60s my mother had a brand new yellow Volkswagon Bug. She loved that little car. My little brother was 2 and wanted to color so for some reason she sat him on the back steps with a black magic marker and a magazine. She hated the squeaking sound it made. She noticed he was too quiet and looked out the door. He had drawn big black circles all over her new car. She nearly killed him. She spanked him good, threw him in the car and went to the dealership to see if they could help. On the way though she would drive a while, stop and pull over and spank him again and drive some more. Thankfully they got the ink off.

OMG you poor mother! These little guys are so sneaky!! My younger DD had done a few "beauts" too. Once she very quietly took her clothes off and covered her ENTIRE body with blue toothpaste. What I actually noticed was that fresh minty smell! I went to see where it was coming from. And found a 3 foot tall blond smurf.
Another time about 7 years ago we still had a big screen tv...the old school kind with the big cabinet. DD found a lip gloss stick which had a lot of sparkly stuff in it and made a huge circle on the tv. It never really came off because we couldn't use anything that would have dissolved it. Plus the screen had grooves in it, and, well it was just a mess.

"Markers".. A wonderful invention..:rotfl::rotfl:

They arent my children. Just an email that was passed around a while back that I felt compelled to save and stare at more than a few times.

When my twin cousins were little they covered each other had to toe in Desitin. My Aunt took pictures, what a mess!

Minty fresh children is a definite indicator that they have been up to no good! :rotfl2:

Bumbershoot, I didn't even know I had baby oil! I don't keep it around either. I happened to find a little bottle if it while going thru "Dastardly's" clothes. What it actually says is "Creamy baby oil" so it was more like a lotion. I think any oil would work.

DS, when he was a toddler, had a chapped spot on his chin from drool, so I had some vaseline on the end table. So, while dad is "watching" him (aka napping), ds slathered dad's face and some of the bed sheets with vaseline. Good greasy mess!

DD covered her entire face in purple marker when she was around 2. DH is the SAH parent and didn't think that it had gotten too quiet. She came to the gate at the kitchen and just looked at him.
Her entire face - purple! He was kind enough to snap a picture before washing it off. And of course it did take a few days for it to fully come off due to the darkness of the color. :sad2: :rotfl2:

Similar thing happened when she was 5 and found the scissors. I walked in the door and the first thing I said was "Oh honey. You cut your hair." Trying to go for the casual tone. DH said "She cut her hair? I thought she just cut the curtain." Turned out she cut the curtain, her entire head, the dog and one of the cats. He hadn't even noticed that the middle inch of her bangs missing (trimmed them right up to her scalp), and about 3 inches on the right side of her head, right next to her face, was gone. :confused3 That got me more confused than her cutting her hair.

I love the fact that he got his dad!! :thumbsup2

This boy has gotten into mischief so many times. He has baby powdered his entire bedroom. He has climbed up to the sink to get the dish soap and made a sticky mess on the kitchen floor with it.

In July I was on the phone in my bedroom and DS came in and said "Smoke in there". I told my friend to hold on and said "What did you say?". "Smoke.". I left my room and when I got near the kitchen I saw the entire area was filled with smoke and the microwave was on with a frozen pancake in it. It was still in there cooking with about 25 minutes still on the timer!!!

Nice of him to tell you! We were at my mom's and my sisters and I were playing a board game while ds played with his cars (he was about 2). So we weren't watching him that closely. He comes to us and says, "M&Ms" and we're like, "Okay. Go play." Finally, he tells us, "M&Ms. In the tv!" Well, I think you never lose that mom hearing, because my mom shouted out, "WHAT?!?" from the other room. He had filled the VCR with a a bunch of M&Ms!
