My 26th Birthday Meal - Suggestions?!

I turn 26 on Halloween and im in Orlando at the time! Wahoo!!

Does anyone have any suggestions of a lovely restaurant for an evening meal for 4 adults & 3 children (youngest being 2) So would need it to be child friendly?

On the actual day im planning on a lay in, then retail therapy at some malls and prob head to DTD. So maybe a meal there?????? I heard T Rex is new, whats this like?

I haven't eaten an evening meal at Downtown Disney so no help there I'm afraid. Be sure to tell them it's your b'day though! You never know what magic might happen! Have a great time and best wishes

Havent been to T rex but we did the Rain Forest cafe. It was very good and the kids will love the animals but be aware they have a thunderstorm effect regularly.

I thoroughly recommend T-rex - in fact I have just posted similar comments on another thread.
If your kids are OK with noise and excitement - and I know some kids aren't - then they will love it. There are plenty of animatronic dinosaurs around the restaurant for them to see and the meteor shower - which happens every 20 minutes or so - is loud but impressive.

Don't forget to pick up your Birthday Fun Card at one of the 4 main parks. It's worth the cost of one-day's admission (approx $75) to Disney, and is available if you already have a multi-entrance ticket - just take your passport and ticket to the will-call booth.

Offsite I would suggest Bahama Breeze (I-drive or LBV), Cheesecake Factory (Mall at Millenia) or Bubba Gumps (Citywalk) Onsite ADRs could be a little tricky to get for the popular places at this point (Ohanas being one of them)
