...Can I get you to make my scrapbook for me? Seriously? We were there the same days, just use your pictures for mine.

I went to 3 stores (joann/ acmoore/ michaels) in search of lettering, and finally found one with 2 sets of gold font stickers I could use together... I'm seriously picky and was not liking anything I was finding. (I wanted stickers or something that could add some texture- plus you can't really print in gold) And then I just got some solid matting because I thought the letters would otherwise blend in with the background pattern, and somehow decided to stick some ribbon at the bottom...

I am still slightly bitter that I couldn't start the word "Spectromagic" with a pink S because the stupid container of letters only contained 2 "G"'s... and they were both pink.

I'm working on CRT pages now... pausing to make sure that I like the mattings I've selected before I start cutting and adhesiving...

Thanks all for cheering me up... having an icky day... All I wanted to do was to work on my scrapbook to cheer myself up a little but nooooooo, I had to work. 1 day weekends SUCK!

Know what you mean about wanting more time to scrap - these things called "jobs" sure do interfere!!! But, i need to support this habit!

I experimented with glitter glue when making the envelopes for the girls... all I can say is I ended up giving them all the glitter glue I'd bought for myself...

I am not sure why I winked. There are plenty of pages (in my head) where I'll be using that awesome stuff, but don't think CRT is one.

Tragedy-- out of adhesive! Thus my streak of consecutive days without visiting AC Moore/ Michaels/ Joann will have to end at.... 1...

Sisters page for the 2 nieces 2 page spread from last week... sorta funny because there can be a lot of sibling rivalry/ "my sister is [annoying/ evil/ a pest/ mean]"

lunch at 50's Prime Time Cafe 1 page; not sure what I will put opposite. Aside: this was my first time at PTC and definitely not my last! It would almost be worth flying down to FL just for the PB&J milkshake.

So glad I had a chance to do some work on these today! (although I'm such a perfectionist that I always see things in my pages that I don't quite like... )

Thanks. I am still in awe of some of the pages I see, but I have to remind myself that it is not fair to compare myself to people who have done this for ages.

DCWV "Once Upon a Time" stack. I'll be using more papers from there for other things.
