My 1000th post....................

This will be my 1000th post on the Disboards. I post it in this section because the DIS Unplugged Podcast was how I came to the boards..........so it seems appropriate.

I truly love this site and the community that lives within it. Now we don't always agree...........but thats ok. We know one thing for sure............we all love Disney!

I huge shout out to Pete and the team! They make coming to this site (every day......multiple times a day ) a must for me. You folks are the best..........hope to see you all at Disapalooza, especially John and Kevin (who I haven't met yet)............

Ok here's what we do............since Disapalooza is every 2 years.......lets starting planning for "Disapalooza 2017" Jess you and you're husband visit us in Orlando in 2 years! We all get together for the big event.........do the Christmas Party..............and whatever else!!!! Yeah 2 years.........IT COULD BE DONE!

I always have to have a Disney vacation to plan.......... Who better to plan it with than our best bud from Down Under (Jeez I hope I got that right?)

Only problem is, we're coming in September 2016, so I don't foresee another trip in the following 2-4 years after that :-(
Airfares alone are minimum $1,200 just to get to LAX.

Maybe I need to start a gofundme. Lol

Congrats, and so glad to have your presence, Doug! You (and all my fellow posters) make this "the place to be" for me. I sometimes lurk on the Disney Dining Reviews section if I have time ('cause I love to eat and read reviews! Part of the reason why I love Kevin/John's, and been enjoying the Trip's) , but this is basically the only place I post. Like you, the podcasts are pretty much how I came on DisBoards, and where I post. And I've already stated my admiration and thanx to each and every member of "The Podcast Teams" for all the shows here a zilliion times, 'cause I am truly grateful.

I haven't been to WDW in 3 years, and due to some lifestyle change issues, I have no IDEA when my next trip will be, but I truly hope to meet at least some members of the Team, and some of my fellow posters (like you!) in the future! Until then, we'll have to continue to "hang out" here together - not such a bad thought after all, due to the great company!!
