We just booked our stay at OKW for December 8-13th. Do we need to get our tickets for MVMCP now, or can we wait and get them when we check in? Do they sell out? This is our first trip down during the Christmas season, so we are very excited! We're also planning to see the lights and the choirs at Epcot. Any other suggestions? What about the resorts, do they do anything special for Christmas (specifically OKW and SSR)???

I would recommend getting your MVMCP tickets now. That is what I have read other places. We have ours already, safely tucked into the correct pocket of our Passporter.

We also have our tickets already as well as PS at LTT for dinner that night. If you know when you want to go I would buy them.

Not only does MVMCP often sell out, but the price is higher at the parks (and I think at the hotels as well).

All of the Friday nights usually sellout. We've gone Sunday or Tuesday early in the month and wait until we get to the hotel to buy the tickets, those nights don't sellout. I don't like to buy them ahead because of health problems that may cause a cancellation.

You get the advance price as long as it is before the day of the party, even if you buy them at the hotel or the park.

You have the exact same dates as me! I haven't bought my MVMCP tickets yet (not sure which night we want to go), I think I have some time before I need to worry about a sell-out. But, it can't hurt to buy them early, so if you want to be safe and know what night you want, go for it!

Thanks all! I think we are planning to go on Thursday the 9th. I will try and get them some time in August, it sounds like that won't be a problem. Very excited to see everything decorated for the holidays...

After reading this thread, I was inspired to buy my MVMCP tickets. My DD4 and I are going 12/9 as well. I just ordered the tickets online. I was undecided whether to do the 9th or 10th, but I hear Fridays are much busier than Thursdays so that sealed the deal. I was a little reluctant to buy them so early since they are non-refundable, but I figured now there's no way I'll back out of this trip, so that's a good thing. It's easy to make a resort ressie since I know I can always change it or cancel it. With these tickets now, I am committed.

I just posted that I didn't buy them yet, but today, I got the urge to do something regarding my trip, so I went ahead and bought them. I also decided on 12/9. I am so excited!
