MVMCP is a seperate ticket event held numerous nights after Thanksgiving and before Christmas. It stands for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. The party usally starts at 7:00 and goes until midnight. During the event there are special Christmas themed shows, different locations to get hot chocolate and cookies, numerous locations to get a family picture taken by WDW personnel (which will be mailed to your home free of charge). The highlight of the evening is the MVMCP parade. A beautiful parade with all the characters dressed in their Christmas best and of course the big guy himself. Also you need to watch out for some white stuff falling on Main Street. The parade is held twice during each evening. Also all of the rides are operating and most of the stores and food stations are opened for business. We went in 2001 and plan on going again this year, we had a great time. Depending on which night of the week you go it can get somewhat crowded (try to avoid Fridays) however if you plan right and get there early it will be easy to avoid long lines.
Have a great time. (hello fellow upstate resident)
