MVMCP - When to Go?

YEAH!!! I am going back to Disney for my second trip!!! I am so excited since I thought my first trip would be my only trip, and after having to cancel free dining, WE ARE GOING BACK!!

We want to see MVMCP. We are going Dec 13-23. I would like to go to the party on either Sun Dec 14, Tues Dec 16, or Thurs 18th. Which do you think would be the least crowded? I am thinking the Sun night or the Tues night??

Any and all opinions welcome. Thanks.

we are going 11-18 and going to the 16 one. the 14(sun)will be filled with locals.

I think I will see if I can book that one too, I thought that Sun would be busier. Just wanted someone else's opinion on that.

We are going on the 16'th as we got a discount from DVC. We have gone to MVMCP many times over the years and have found that the parties in the middle of the week are usually less crowded and once it gets later on in December it is a lot fuller, even during the week. Have fun. It's a great time. Make sure to buy a Mickey or Minnie Santa hat and get into the spirit.

Last year, we went in August and they had the Pirate and Princess party, and I thought, why would I pay money to go the Magic Kingdom, when I will be there anyways??? Well, when we were getting kicked out of the Magic Kingdom, I was kicking myself for NOT buying the tickets.

Cannot wait to see this,and the Osbourne Lights.

We're going on the 16th also. I thought with it being during the week it's probably less crowded than the weekend.

FWIW we went to MVMCP on December 11th last year and it didn't seem to be all that crowded. We usually are in WDW in August, so that is the typr of crowds we were comparing it to.

The closer it gets to Xmas and school holidays the busier the parks/resorts/mvmcps will get ... I would think the Sunday or Tuesday would be your best bets.

Have fun ... Disney during the Christmas Season is an awesome experience!

That is great to hear. I figure it was the best week, if there was one to take my DS12 out of school for a week. I cannot go in March or April which would have been my first choice.

I am looking forward to Disney at Christmas!!!
