MVMCP...What Time Can You Really Get In MK?

I've seen some posts about people entering MK at 4:00 or 5:00 for the MVMCP. I thought this didn't start until 7:00. Are people getting there early for an ADR? I have been at the park on the nights of MVMCP, but have never stayed for the event. Thinking of doing so this December, and I am just wondering how early I can enter MK with that ticket!

There have been consistent and reliable reports that you can get in any time after 4:00 with your MVMCP ticket -- see extensive thread at http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=752567. I personally did so around 4:30 last month. There is a special line for it.

Think about it. Do you think WDW wants thousands of people lining up and going through the turnstiles at 7:00? Of course not. Many have ADRs, but they don't want to hear about it. Just insert your ticket, get your wristband, and go on in.

We have gotten into the MK at 4pm for two years in a row for MVMCP.

This past Dec we were probably there about 3:50 and we just followed the signs and went right in with only that ticket.

We love getting that "free" 3 hours to ride and eat. This past year we went to Adventureland and Frontierland to ride stuff until 6pm, then went to Tomorrowland and continued to ride until the party officially started at 7pm.

We literally walked on Space Mountain, Buzz, Splash, and Pirates during those times.
