MVMCP Time between parade and fireworks

DH, myself and our 2 kids (2 year old and 1 year old) will be going to MVMCP in Dec. We're staying at the Poly. Is there enough time between the parade and the fireworks to make our way back to the Poly? Our plan is to stay in MK until after the fireworks but I'd like to have a back up plan since our kids will likely be exhausted.

If you mean so that you can WATCH the MK fireworks from the Poly, it could be tight.
The first parade (8:15 start in Frontierland) will be over by 9:15-ish at the front of MK.

(We don't yet know if Christmas Wishes will be performed at 9:30 or 10:00pm this year.)

If you take the MK>Grand Floridian>Poly shuttle boat,
if you are a bit late, you can still watch the fireworks from the boat or the Poly's dock.

Hm, the more I think about this, I think we are going to have to leave MK after the parade. Even with 9:30PM Wishes, if we stay, we probably won't get back to our room until 10:45PM.
