Hi fellow Diser's I would like to know from those who've attended a number of MVMCP'S,if you enjoyed MVMCP'S of previous years more than more recent one's you have been to?I would say that is our case,we really enjoyed previous MVMCP'S more than recent ones.I really don't like that they have stopped giving out the MVMCP buttons like they did in years past. It's a little thing but I thought it was cheap on Disney's part to discontinue them. We've been to MVMCP each year since 1992.Most years twice one party we do attractions and parade, other party all the live shows and special fireworks. Thanks Danny

I've only been going since 2000 but I agree that even from then, its changed quite a bit. (I still love it though and will continue to go).

I don't like that they stopped the button either. It was a great souvenir with the year on it.

I don't like that it looks like there will no longer be a free photo anymore.

I don't like that its gotten more popular and crowded.

And even though they are slowing taking things away, the price continues to go up.

I still love it though. Go figure.

Exactly. Everything that BeattyFamily has said.

It doesn't seem to be as the "special" event that it once was. I just don't think they limit the tickets sales to a certain number as they say.

Fun still but . . . .

We've been since 2000 as well.

In 2000 it was magical: walk-on to rides, many characters, easy photo (although a bit cheesy background), lots of snow, wonderful parade, pin souvenir.

2002: Still magical, not quite so many walk-ons, lots of characters, not bad wait for photo (still cheesy background), less snow, wonderful parade, pin souvenir.

2004: Not so much. Long lines, fewer characters (and longer lines to see them), gave up on photo (fewer places, incredible lines), wonderful parade, no pin.

2006: Hmm, do we really want to spend almost $200 for a great parade at night that we can catch later in the week in the afternoon? Not so sure.

Very interesting.....We were there for the first time in 2004 and had a great time. With no prior experience, we loved it for what it was. We were thinking of going twice, but now you have given me something to think about...

This will be our first MVMCP and we are excited, but having had a nightmare experience at MNSSHP(hot, sold out and unbelievable crowds) at the end of September, I'm wondering if the party will be worth our time and energy :confused3

We will be going to the 11/28 party, having dinner at the castle, and I'm hoping for a magical night :wizard:
