Hi,
We will be going to MK for a MVMCP on the 2nd of Dec. It will be our second time in Magic Kindgom and we are traveling as a group of 8 including a 4yo and 20 month old twins. We don't do huge park days or many park days during our vacation as our boys are still young so this party will be our only day at MK. My husband and I will most likely return to Disney every year for the next few years. However, this will probably be the only Disney trip for at least two of our guests. So I want to make sure that they can at least see the parade and the fireworks. They also really enjoy music so I would like to squeeze in the a capella group show. It is hard for me to say what the kids will be into, I suspect it will be the snacks.
I am trying to plan our day out but I am struggling. Is there a spot from where we can watch the shows in front of the castle but also see the parade? We don't want to have to wait for 30 plus minutes to stake out our spot for the parade but I also understand that we can't rock up at the last minute and have a spot for all 8 of us including a stroller...If we can at least catch those shows while waiting, it would keep the kids entertained and tick some items of our must-see list. Alternatively, we can watch the parade from Liberty Square/Frontierland. Would we be able to show up last minute and still have a decent spot? I don't think that the 11pm parade is an option with the kiddos.
Secondly, is there a spot near Tomorrowland, or anywhere else really, where we could watch the fireworks? Again, all 8 of us sitting in a spot for an hour to have the best view doesn't really work. We don't need the best best view, as I am sure we will all be impressed regardless, but I want us to have a decent view.
I was hoping that the Christmas party wouldn't require so much planning but it still sounds like you have to fight to get decent spots for the parade and fireworks. I looked into the dessert parties but they seem to be all sold out.
