We're going to be near Disney and have decided to see either the Christmas parade and party at Magic Kingdom or the Osbourne lights at MGM. We've been both places before during the summer but have never seen either of these at Christmas time before. Last year we did a tour of all the resorts at Christmas and looked at the decorations. So we can only do one of these on a Sunday 11/27, which would you do if you could only do one? We are two middle age adults and won't have any kids with us.

I would go for MVMCP in a heartbeat. The Lights are spectacular - but they are something I could take or leave. And I do love Christmas lights.

I think it depends on how much you love shows and parades vs christmas lights. The lights are fabulous and I loved them but it will only take about 20 minutes maximum to check out the lights vs the party which goes all night and has many shows, parades and of course rides. Plus there is the fireworks, snow on main street and the christmas decorations. I would definitely do the party.

MVMCP. its a christmas party at mickey's place. if it was up to me i would want to do both. but if only 1 choice make it mickey's party for sure

One is free and only takes a few minutes. The other is about $40 and takes all night.

IMHO, it's comparing apples to oranges but I'd pick MVMCP in a heartbeat.

Make your choice and enjoy your night. :Pinkbounc

Thanks everyone. I think I've decided on the MVMCP. My husband loves parades and fireworks. I've been reading the thread posted above and I didn't realize we could probably get into MK after 4:00 with just a ticket to MVMCP so that will help a lot. Maybe next year we'll go to Osbourne lights. We usually make a trip down to a relatives the end of November or the first week of December every year.
