MVMCP or extra park day?

We are headed to WDW for the first time at Christmas Dec 18-24. Right now we are planning 2 park days (DHS/MK). I am trying to decide if we should add one extra park day or do MVMCP? I am concerned about parks reaching capacity and not being able to come back in the evening for parades/ fireworks, so just doing the party is attractive. I have no idea how crowded the party might be ( we would do Dec 19) vs a regular park day. We loved MNSSHP. Grateful for any suggestions.

The 19th is the last one and it typically sells out.

I have never been but I have heard that MVMCP is a big let down and no where near as good as MNSSHP.
