I just got back from MVMCP on the 3rd which was a sell out. I have some information and tips for people going on the other sell out days and hope someone will find it usefull.
Get there at 4 and eat before that time. In other words try not to spend time eating while you can be in the park. The reason I say this is the day crowd will lickely be less crowded than the party. During the time between 4 and 6 you can go on all the rides you want with very little wait. some rides in Fantasyland is the exception to this as the lines for Pooh and PP were 25 minutes.
Make a list of things you want to do. For example our agenda was to do our favorite 10 rides and the rides we hadn't done on Wed, see Mickey's twas the night before Christmas show, see wishes and the parade and just soak in the atmosphere. We got there at 4:00 and were able to do Buzz, speedway, snow white, see the tree house, pirates, splash mt and BTMR all by 6:00. Then we went to the 6:15 night before christmas show. After that we relaxed, took in the atmoshpere and went to do the other rides on the list. Saw wishes and the second parade.
Although the park is packed all the rides had a 15 minute wait at the most. We rode on space mt., peter pan, pooh, BTMR (twice), splash mt, Buzz (twice), haunted mansion and others all after 7:00. One exeption was Stich at 20 minutes.
If you want to see the shows and the parade get there early. 30 minutes should do it. And don't expect the second parade to be less crowded than the first. Both were packed. Select the shows you want to see and get there early and you will be fine.
The place is packed but manageable. Get there at 4 with an agenda and you will get your money's worth despite the crowd.
Oh and you can get a stroller for free at 4. Just show them your wristband. We got a double and my nine year old was riding in it LOL.
Hope this helps.
