The shirts look great!

Those shirts are FANTASTIC!!! I'm sure I just missed it. Did you post how you made them?![]()
Of course we don't have on demand right now either so the kids are suffering too. I kept telling them, I guess you are stuck watching whatever is on at the time.
Poor kids!! They are stuck watching TV back like we did in the "old days" before there were even VCRs!
wow, the shirts look great- i love them. i might just have to try those myself. thanks for sharing the instructions. not sure i can get DH to wear one.........i actually just got him to finally wear a shirt with mickey on it on our last trip and i think he finally did that since our son liked it. lol. not sure he would wear this one or not. i can at least make them for me, MIL and DS! love them!i think i will avoid the 'red-shirt' though. don't need to go disappearing at disney!

They still had more kids only channels to choose from than I had channels when I was a kid. I guess they are so used to watching what they want on demand, that they don't comprehend that it isn't possible to do it.
They didn't get any sympathy from me though.
If they want something on demand, they can watch one of their dvd's
I bought black shirts today. I think I'm going to try the reverse tie-dye that you bunch up and use the rubber bands. I'm so nervous to try! How much bleach vs water did you use? 50/50 ?
I just used straight bleach. I put some water in the bathtub. When a shirt looked like it was done to my liking I had my wife run it into the bathtub to rinse out the bleach and stop the process. I only left it on each shirt for a few minutes, so make sure you have a runner.
Off topic: This is now Day 5 without internet access at home. Spent an hour and a half on hold the other day before I gave up. Lucked out yesterday was only on hold for 15 minutes before getting a human to talk to me. They are sending me a new router. Funny, that's what I asked for on Saturday, but they thought it was a dead battery, so I had to change that out first. Why don't people listen to me?![]()
lol, he just might! we are big fans of the boys! if only they could pull it together this year. You should go find a shirt that is Blue. That way when you bleach it, it should come out in Cowboys blue, and then he would wear it.
I looked back at the sample link you'd posted for the black shirt that came out with a rusty color and they used half water, half bleach. They'd used rubber bands for the corners to get the scrunchie look and I figured I'd try that way first. The weather has been crap so far on my vacation but today looks like a good day to try it out.![]()
Ugh, how annoying! Think they'll credit you five days of internet?![]()

so you put the stencils on (line the shirt inside with plastic too to avoid seeping through)- then spray the straight bleach on the shirt, around the stencil. then you soak it a bit and the color bleeds some? i am not good with instructions if you couldn't tell.![]()
