Unless something changed since I was there 2 years ago, the Dwarves are only out during the halloween party...not the xmas one.

The 7 Dwarfs are also out for MVMCP and they wear Christmas scarves.

Most people will understand if your group meets you in the line. Just don't abuse it.

Example from 2 years ago. Woman holds place in line for 7 Dwarves. At the last minute her group of 9 more join her. They decide they each want a pic, then the girls, then the boys, then the adults, then the kids, then this family then the other family then the third family. Oh now I need a shot with this camera and then that camera oh and this phone and on and on.
DO NOT BE THAT PERSON!!!!

Example from this years MNSSHP. Woman saves place in line for group (Queen of hearts) for Jack and Sally. She tells everybody that more are joining her. No problem thanks for the heads up. about 30 minutes before they get to the end the rest of her group shows up (Alice, 2 tweedles, Madhatter, Cheshire cat, and White Rabbit). They thank everybody for letting them in. When it was their turn they took 1 maybe 2 group pics and left.
BE LIKE THESE PEOPLE!!! and you will have no problems.

I saw them later in the evening and thanked them for being considerate of others.

Thank you! That is my plan, we will just be getting one family pic. It's me and then my mom and my 3 kiddos. I figured that they could do one ride and then grab some food that we can eat in line.

What we did was ate dinner in line. So I got up to get food and brought it back and we ate by the arch with the benches there. At one point one of us got up for different things but we were about the third family in line. Eating dinner passed the time. I am not sure we will do that this year.

Last year they were in Fantasyland (near the carousel if I'm remembering it correctly) and in 2011 they were in Frontierland (near the exit for Splash). We didn't go in 2012. Not sure if there is a rhyme or reason to their location. Hopefully someone else will chime in that knows more.

We had the above scenario occur, with the dwarves, this year. Again if you're polite and make it clear what the situation is, there shouldn't be a problem. I thought I'd be upset by it.........but the folks we met were so nice and it was more about having kids in line for 1hr+. BTW if you get in line that early you shouldn't have "any" problems............

I'd suggest no later than 6. Expect 2 hour waits during the party. Personally, I'd rather wait an hour and a half to 2 hours BEFORE the party, than waste a couple hours in line during the party.

We only waited 20 mins last year and it was sometime during MVMCP...I can't even remember around what time. I couldn't believe our luck though!
