Just wondering-we've never been to Disney during Christmas. Is MVMCP worth buying tickets for? We'll be there 12/21-12/28. Thanks. :goodvibes

I hope it's worth it!! We'll be there on Nov 13th!!
There is a long thread about it on the Parks board with tips and more.

Having read the thread that Desnik mentioned, I have to say that MVMCP sounds well worth it. We have tickets for Nov. 17 and are looking forward to it.

We went to the last MVMCP last December and really enjoyed it. It was sold out that night but the crowds seemed moderate to me. I have to say we never did the parties when our kids were very young, we wanted to be able to stay until the end with them. We have also been to MNSSHP the year before and both times the crowds really cleared out after the second parade when folks with little kids left :thumbsup2 !
It is wise to note....if you go to WDW during the time that the parties are still going on you will NOT be able to see the Christmas parade or the special fireworks or any of the special stage shows UNLESS you buy tickets to the party. If you are there after the last party ends (12/21 last year) then AFTER that they run the Christmas parade, special shows and fireworks etc DAILY in place of the regular stuff. SO......when you are there if you want to save your $$$ and NOT buy the tickets you will still get to see all of the special party stuff at the MK after the parties end.
Just my 2 cents.....

This will be our first MVMCP on 12/5 and we can't wait. I too am hoping it's worth it, but hey - it's Disney - how can it not be?? :confused3

Hey, we'll be there on the 17th as well. My kiddos don't know yet, and I'm going to put off telling them for as long as possible. I'm so excited. We'll be staying at SSR, (I rented some points from a DVC member, and I'm hoping Dh will love the extra space and want to join.) and I can't wait. We've never done MVMCP.
