mvmcp - I goofed on dinner reservation

I made a reservation for a group of 26 at the Crystal Palace for 3:35 pm dinner, thinking that everyone in the group would have a MK admission ticket. I now find out that some of us will only have the Christmas party admission, which begins at 4:00 pm. Of course the restaurant is now fully booked (Nov 8th) and the reservation time cannot be changed. Do I have any options to get my Christma party people through the gate before 4:00? I'll keep trying to change the reservation time but am not optimistic. Do you think guest services at the park or even the staff at the Crystal Palace may be able to help me? (if we promise not to go on any rides until after dinner?? we won't even look at the castle!!) We are having our family reunion at Bonnet Creek & planning for this group ain't easy-LOL-good thing we're friends as well as family.(so far anyway). TIA

I am not sure because I have never been in this type of situation and if I am wrong someone will let you know.
Could the people that are there at the ADR time all show up and get check in and then at 4 the others come in? I do not know how it works for such a large group, when you check in is the place ready at that time or is it like normal ADRs and you have to wait a little while? If that was the case it might be closer to 4 before the tables are ready, but again I have no clue, just throwing out random thoughts

Looking at the schedule for Nov 8, it looks like CP has continuous seating all day so the likelihood of getting all 26 people at one table or even next to each other is pretty slim.

The DW restaurants in our experience will not let you check in until everyone in the group is there. However, if you wait until after everyone arrives at the park you run the risk of not having your reservation honored since it was for 3:35. How many in your group will not arrive until after 4:00?

This might be a meal where those of you who can get in by 3:35 keep the CP reservation. For the ones who can't get in until 4:00, try for a 4:15 or later CP reservation, a res elsewhere or just have counter service that day and everyone meet up after eating.

Plus I'm just curious; is this the only time this certain group of people are going to any of the theme parks?

BUT isn't this one of the restaurants that you have to hold with a credit card and all no shows would be charged $10.00 to the card per person not showing up? If so you better cancel it totally and keep trying for another ADR

The computer system is set up so that Party tickets are not valid prior to 4:00pm and they will not be allowed into the Park.

And with the reservations, the CC will only be charged if nobody in the group shows up.
