MVMCP-How early can I get in?

I'm thinking about going to MVMCP on Tues, Dec. 2nd. What is the earliest I can get into the MK without using a regular park pass? I don't know if I want to make a dinner reservation, but just snack while I'm there. I thought I read they'd let you in early and then keep you in Tomorrowland while the crowds are exiting.

Yes, I've heard they may let you in about an hour before the park closes with just your MVMCP tickets...

Last year it was 4:00pm. We entered with just our MVMCP tickets around 4:30, they directed us to the turnstiles on the right side as you face the entrance and got our wristbands. After the fireworks at 6:00pm, they asked those with wristbands to go to Tomorrowland, while the others had to exit. It gave us a great jump on the party.
