We went last year, the same night (the Tue. during our week-long stay the week before T-giving). The crowds were awesome. We skipped the first parade and got a front-row spot 20 minutes before the second parade, in Frontierland. We rode Aladdin's carpets about 4x in a row, w/o getting off, the crowds were so thin. I also wanted to do the Jungle Cruise but that wasn't open. Frontierland was EMPTY.
My tip: if there are rides you plan on doing during the parade, make sure they're open on party nights. I know I saw a list of open rides floating around here somewhere.
Hmmm we'll just have to b careful with where we put our cards so they don't get mixed up. How difficult would it have been to market the parties according to themes? That would have made the cards feel like a piece of pixie dust when they arrived and would look so cute in a birthday card or special occassion gift. We should work for Disney
HOLY GUACAMOLE!! DID YOU SEE THE CROWDS? I thought they limit the number of guests so party goers have a chance to do all and see all without fighting through crowds or standing in lines forever to see the 7 dwarfs? Thanks for the heads up, it is definitely more crowded then I would have thought. I guess we'll just plan for the worst and hope for the best. I'm letting go of preconceived idea of mvmcp and I'm just going to go with it. Hope everyone feels the need to just be kind and feel the love
I'm also going with BIL, SIL and 2DNephews and they are ride freaks. My thoughts are with this blog for characters that are different and seeing the shows and parades. Rides will always be there. I kinda want to focus on the specialty events at the party... but again... I'm just going with the flow and hoping something very merry passes my way throughout all the crowds and confusion.
