MVMCP - First Friday in December?

I've read on here that the Christmas parade is usually filmed on the first Saturday in December. Will that make the Friday night party extremely busy? We understand that the party is pretty busy on Fridays anyway. I'm just worried about it being way packed out! Anybody been there in years past on the night before the parade?

Fridays are the busiest days for MVMCP, and therefore to be avoided if possible.

AFAIK they do not film during MVMCP. Last year they filmed on the first Saturday and Sunday of Dec.

Last year all three Friday MVMCP's soldout so the Saturday filming has nothing to do with it.
