MVMCP Fast Pass clarification

I'm a little confused about whether or not you can make FP with the party tickets. If we are not going to the park that day can we make FP starting at 4pm with our ticket?
Do i need a dummy account if I'm not going to use my regular ticket to enter the park?

Thanks for any help. FP day is soon and i'm trying to get myself ready!

For MVMCP in 2017, we only had party tickets (no other park tickets at all) and were able to book FP for the pre-party timeframe. We booked t he following windows:

330-430, 430-530; 530-630

IIRC 630 was the latest end point available.

Many people for the party reported issues if they had both party tickets and normal tickets, so not sure what the end result with that scenario was.

You might be able to MAKE the FP+, but you may not be able to KEEP the FP+ for the party. Make all your other FP+ first, then come back and do the party day. For some people, the system is seeing that you have already used all your allotted days, and for others, they have no problem. For those who have no problem, SOME of them then get an email telling them they have more FP+ days scheduled than they have days on their tickets. That email can come at any time, so just keep an eye on your email.

Because it varied for people last year, I'm not chancing it. It's worth it for me to just get an extra day's ticket so I know my fp's are safe snd I don't have to worry about them! I will have AK on my last day and don't want them trying to take away thos fp's!

What about AP holders?
Would this problem arise if you had an AP?
I was thinking we would head into the park around 3:00 and ride a few rides with FP+ before the party. The party is the day before our departure (12/4), but I won't have any FP made on the last day (12/5) because we fly out early. Will the dreaded emails come to AP holders, too?

It shouldn't and especially if you're going to make them before 4:00. I don't keep up with AP details, since I don't have one, but is there a limit to the number of days you make at one time? Seems I've seen something like that in various places. If so, then just make sure you don't go over that limit and you'll be fine.
