Could you guys please explain to me exactly what the MVMCP is and what goes on?

DH & I are taking my MIL to WDW in early December 2006. We've never been there in December, so I've never paid much attention to the MVMCP threads.

I did a search, but I can't find anything really explaing what it is, how much and where you get the tickets, how long, etc.

MVMCP is a hard ticket event which runs on certain nights in MK frm 7 to Midnight. You have access to all rides,Christmas parade,Family photo,Hot Choclate, cookies. Number of shows Twas the night before Christmas, and a few more plus a Special Holiday Wishes Fireworks show. The parade is run 2 times usally 8PM and 10PM It can get crowed sometimes. I just went the first time this last December and enjoyed it. One thing avoid the last few days as they will be sold out days.

We've been to the Party twice. It's great fun! Not all the rides and attractions are open, but all the favorites are. You get free hot cocoa and cookies throughout the park. You take your picture and they send it to you later in the mail. The parades and fireworks are great! You really need to get your tickets early because they will sell out. The lines are shorter due to them only selling a certain number of tickets. The busiest rides vary. We've been when the line for Peter Pan was outrageous and when we could just get right on. The same for Snow White, Haunted Mansion, and Thunder Mountain Railroad. You should definitely go!

Well, there is:

*Hot Chocolate
*Parade
*Fireworks
*Cookies
*Holiday Shows
*Carolers
*Characters

Practically, it's christmas brought right to the Magic Kingdom.
