Last week at the MVMCP we went to our usual place to watch the Christimas parade in the handicap section in front of the Hall of Presidents. Upon arriving a complete stranger came up to us an offered to get us the coco and cookies that MK was passing out to everyone. I told my DW earlier that I would make the attempt right after the parade. This same person did the same thing for each new person who came into our area. This lady should have got praises from the Disney people for her genorosity for people who would have not made the attempt to do for themselves. On top of that, the CM assigned to our area was a complete joy. She was a young and a very beautiful young lady who had a million dollar smile and a shinning personality that just jumped out at you. Just before the parade arrived, she has us feeling like kids again in anticipation. The parade was good as ever and we just loved to watch the faces of the little people as Santa made his appearance at the end of the parade. Disney magic at work.

Sounds like you had such a great time. I love hearing stories that give thanks to those who go out of the way to make someone feel good. :earboy2:

Thanks for making me smile. We had lots of great CM experiences in MK this trip too.

That was super nice of her to do that. That's what makes WDW such a special place...the people are all very caring and are almost always willing to do whatever it takes to make you feel at home. I can't wait for MVMCP to see my DD's face light up with all of those wonderful and amazing performers in the street. This will be her first parade. She is our Disney baby and is 13 months old. It will truly be a life-long dream and a magical moment for me to experience the parade with my first-born. :goodvibes

There are handicap areas in the circle across from city hall and the circle in front of the castle.

Great to hear! I'm glad you had such a magical night.

The other day someone asked me, "So, why do you like to go to Disney World so much." I didn't really have an answer, other than it's the place where I'm the most happy and care-free...but it's hearing stories like this that makes me like it so much!
