MVMCP Dining Question

My family and I will be at MK on 12/5. We will also be doing MVMCP that night. The park closes at 6pm and then reopens at 7pm for the party. What happens at 6pm? Does everyone have to leave? I had PS for Plaza Restaurant at 4:40 (nothing later was available). If we are done at 5:30 will we have to leave the park? Can someone let me know how this will work.

Those with MVMCP tickets are given wristbands. If you enter after 4:00pm, they will put them on you as you enter the park. If you are already in the park, they distribute them in front of the castle and collect your tickets. At 6:00pm, those without wristbands are directed to the exits. The shops close. The rides in Tomorrowland are still open and they only allow people with wristbands on. There is also a photo station open in Tomorrowland. Then at 7:00pm, the shops open back up and the rides in the rest of the park are opened.

We did the Plaza last year around 4:15. We were done by 5:00 (I think that is when they closed), we still had time to do some rides in Adventureland before 6:00, then we headed over to Tomorrowland. Then after 7:00, we went over to Main Street to see the snow, then headed back to Fantasyland (no lines).

We'll be there 12/5 also. We have PS for CRT at 4:35pm and then plan on heading to Tomorrowland to enjoy the short lines.

We did that two years ago and it was great. We also got out family picture taken just after the party started so we walked right up.
