What would you do?

I have a family with a 2 year old turning 3 on the trip. The day BBB is scheduled is the day before the 3yo's birthday. It's also the same night that they have tickets for MVMCP. They are staying offsite and have APs. Are they going to have issues going into MK before the party with the little girl dressed up from BBB and not having a ticket (or when it comes time to get the wristbands for the party), because she isn't turning 3 until the next morning? I wasn't sure since they have an AP, if it shows when they enter a park, if they are staying on or offsite. And of course, the 2 year old doesn't have an AP yet.

TIA.

Maybe. You have to be 3 to do BBB, so they may, rightfully, assume that she is 3 and ask for a ticket. I would suggest not trying to play this both ways. Either she is 2 and can't do BBB but can do the party for free OR she's 3 and can do BBB and you have to buy a ticket. I don't think anyone on here is going to suggest you circumvent Disney's rules.

I thought I read somewhere that you don't 'age' while in Disney so if you're 2 when you check in to your resort or reservation, you're 2 for the remainder of your trip?

Right, but my clients are staying offsite, and I don't know if the CMs can see that when you scan your MB to enter a park, since they are AP holders.

Maybe have them bring her birth certificate to show age?

This is true. Doesn't matter if you are on site or off site. If you are 2 at the start of the trip and turn 3 during the trip you are treated as a 2 year old for the duration of the trip.
I don't believe this eliminates their chance to do BBB once they turn 3.
If the CM ask, just inform them that she just turned 3, they'll understand.
But honestly, I suspect they won't ask. People can do their own BBB at home, some look as good.

Disney's rules are you don't age at Disney when it comes to tickets/dining so they are sticking to the Disney rule
