MVMCP automatically linked to MDE

I just bought tickets for MVMCP through the Disney website and noticed that the tickets were automatically linked to my MDE. Anyone else have this happen? I also have heard were linking special ticketed events cause problems.

Mine did as well and folks told me not to worry about it.

Our MNSSHP tickets were linked last October and I was worried because then we also heard of the issues. We brought our hard tickets with us in case there was an issue. We had no problems what so ever with them being linked. I am happy to hear that they are automatically doing it now because I had to manually do it last year.

Ours were linked automatically too, but there have been too many issues with the magic bands for me to trust them completely. When we were at WDW in May, I asked for actual tickets to MVMCP. The CM kept saying that this was not necessary and tried to repeatedly convince me to just trust the bands...sorry I didn't want to take a chance. I have the two tickets next to our Annual Passes.

Mine were linked automatically as well, but I did receive tickets in the mail about 10 days after I ordered them. Hoping we won't have an issue but bringing our hard tickets with us just in case

Mine were linked last December and we didn't have any problems. I did bring the hard tickets just in case.

Yup ours were linked automatically this time and choosing a guest for each ticket. Last year I linked them myself and had no issues at all.

I bought MNSSHP tickets last month and they weren't linked, so I just though it was weird.

So if they are automatically linked, do you think you will be able to book fastpass + attractions using our party tickets?

I know that fastpass was historically unavailable during Christmas and Halloween parties, but I spoke with a CM who told me Fastpass+ would be available this year all night at the Halloween party. I have been told incorrect things by CMs before, so I wanted to know what others have heard.


I know some folks insist that you don't need fastpass during the parties, but for some things like Princess Fairytale Hall, Enchanted Tales with Belle, and other meet and greets, fastpass+ could really come in handy.

Mine were also linked. I plan to bring the hard ticket to the gate with me.
