MVMCP and FP Question

Sorry if this has been asked before, I've searched the threads and can't find an answer to my question.

We are going to try the Christmas party for the first time ever this trip and I've read that fastpasses are not available during the party, but we are hoping to go to the park around 4pm. Are we able to use some fastpasses between 4-7pm? We do not have a park ticket booked for that day linked to our magic band, so would I be able to book 6 days worth of fastpasses even if I only bought a 5 day park pass plus the Christmas party ticket? I really hope we can. My girls are going to the Bippiti Boppiti Boutique before the party and are going to wear their Anna and Elsa dresses and I would really like them to get a pic with A&E that night.

Last year, during a definite test-phase, there were a number of reports that you could do this. Whether or not that will remain true this year remains to be seen--but probably so.

By the way, you are also assuming that Anna and Elsa will be available at MVMCP--we don't know this yet either. But personally I think it's a very safe assumption.
