Has anyone done mvmcp and just had counter service meals? I made adr for ltt but don't think the kids will want to eat any of the food and had to make the reservation for 7:00 so thinking we'll miss too much. we ate at tony's last year and it was okay... maybe do a big lunch in mk?? need input please :confused3

The CS can be a zoo depending on when you try to eat at them (like between 6:00p and 7:00p or later). Last year PB was a zoo because Frontierland/Adventureland was the land(s) left open last year between 6p - 7p

Columbia Harbor House and Pinnochios (these 2 are closed during the party though) and Cosmic Rays are all great!

Or you can do a late lunch. I like CP or Tony's for that.

Good luck deciding!

We've only done cs for mvmcp and mnsshp. We've gotten Pecos Bills and than watched the first parade, I think one year we ate our burgers curbside waiting for the parade. Forget my kids, I'd be too fidgetty sitting for over an hour during the party thinking I was missing all the fun.

Personally, I wouldn't "waste" time with a TS meal as the parties are already so short. I'd plan on CS (in my experience, CR's is packed, PB's is much less crowded) or even just bring my own.

We got a 4:50 ADR at The Plaza. I think they are not accepting any times after 5pm, since the park closes at 6. We like the Plaza's sandwiches, and we can also get some desserts, then hit the party.

I have to agree with the other posts, I would not waste an hour of the party at a sit down meal.

We did Cosmic Rays at about 5:00 last year and then walked over to watch the show at the Galaxy Theater. Worked really well for us, but you may not want to see the show at that time.

I like your idea of having a late lunch...then just grabbing something during the party.

I hope you have a great time!

I am planning on lunch at CP and then CS for dinner. I don't want to miss a minute of the party (it's our first one!)

thanks ya'll- just made adr for the plaza at 4:45.... :thumbsup2 think I'm ready now....
