MVMCP a tip or two

You have the Castle Lighting down as 6:30 - is this a change? I thought it was 5:45.
I think in the past it has been 5:45pm but YES it was at 6:30pm. Not sure if it will stay that way but that is what time it was last night.

Anybody know about character sightings??

How long will a dinner at LTT take? We have 5:35 ADRs before our party...too close, should we cancel?

So excited that the parties have started!!!

Characters were
Mickey at his house
Minnie at her house
Cindy/Prince & Aurora/Prince at ToonTown Tent
Fairies at ToonTown Tent
Donald Duck - Tree Farm - rotating with Scrooge
Belle & Beast - Fantsyland by It's a Small World - rotating with S.White & Prince
Woody, Jesse & horse (sorry can't remember name)
Hook & Smeed

I would say that LTT will be about an hour to hour and a half especially since it's a character dinner. I had a 5:45 and I canceled mine. I'm VERY glad that I did..

Thanks for the great info. I think I have the whole night planned.

Just one question:
Can we go to Belle's storytime at 7:15 then find a decent spot (not right up front) to watch Celebrate the Season at 7:45?

Hi. Where in Fantasyland was Donald's Tree Farm???

We are also going on the 14th!! I know that we can get in by 4:00pm...what are the times for Ariel's grotto? My daughter is soooo into "mermaid" right now, but I didn't know if there were specific times that she was in the grotto or is she somewhere else during the party. I was planning on getting there at 4 and going straight back to see her...then we can take our time and enjoy the rides. Also, what princesses are usually in the Toontown Tent, if any, during the party? Last time, everything was Mickey and Pooh, so now I have to research the princesses!! princess:

Is Scrooge the man or Uncle Scrooge the duck? Thanks (for some reason I'm quite embarassed to ask this question.) :)

Man, I hope they do the castle lighting earlier than 6:30 when we go. There's no where near enough time to get over to Tomorrowland before the first show there...

The report on allears said to go to a later show. They went right from the castle lighting ceremony to tomorrowland for the Twas show and were in the back.

I saw that, but it would completely screw up my whole plan. I'd rather just cross my fingers :scared: that it'll get moved back as the days get shorter--we're not going until December 14th. :thumbsup2

Thanks for pointing it out though!:goodvibes

This is my hope too! We have a 7:30 ADR at Narcoosees and I was hoping to go back to our room at the GF to change into Non-Park clothes after seeing this. That could be a tight squeeze!

Hi. I don't post very often but I had to share a little info about our trip. We were at MVMCP on Monday, Nov. 10th. It was our first time to attend and we loved every minute of it! If you have tickets you are in for a treat! My husband thinks we should make it a yearly holiday event. The crowds were not bad at all. We rode almost all of the rides from 4-7 and had very short wait times. Then, from 7-12 we were in Christmas mode (with only 1 or 2 more rides squeezed in). It was a magical night and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as our family.

Thanks for the review!!

according to the map it is open. I have never been to a hard ticket event when it hasn't been open.

I am really getting overwhelmed trying to figure out how to plan our party night!! I don't think I can possibly get in everything I want to!!!

This will be our 3rd MVMCP and we still haven't seen it all! :confused3 Gives me a reason to keep going back:love:

I'm not really trying to figure out how to see it all. I've picked out the things most important to me and am trying to figure out which order to see them in. I think it'd be impossible to see EVERYTHING! :rotfl:

Is the castle lighting ceremony the same every night? We will be at the MK on another night and if it's the same we will make sure we do it then and get seats to Twas the Night.
