MVMCP 2nd Parade, when should we secure a spot?

Taking the advice of many posters, we are planning on seeing the 2nd parade during MVMCP. We are attending Dec 2nd (it's a Tuesday).

When should we secure a spot for the parade? We want to be on Main St to watch the parade during the "snow".

My favorite spot is on the train station balcony but I would like to know the answer to this questions as well. I plan to see the first parade in frontier land or liberty square area due to the crowds but I am hoping that my mom and I can stay for the second parade and see it on Main Street.

We were there on Friday (sold out party), and got a second row spot on Main Street about 15 minutes before the second parade. We had a great view as we were just behind a couple children that sat the whole time. If you want a front row seat, you will probably have to secure one as soon as the first parade is over, but otherwise you should be able to find a good spot very close to parade time.
