Must-try dishes at Flower and Garden

Any dishes (or drinks) at the kiosks that you can recommend? Anything to avoid? I've looked at the menu descriptions on the passport, but they aren't helping me much. Thanks!

Sadly some of my favorites last year were at the Botanas Botanico kiosk and it's not back this year. However we had some great stuff besides that! Here's our review of everything we tried. One of us is gluten free, another is a pescetarian (eats seafood but no other meat) and the 3rd had no restrictions. :-)

Everything.

They changed a lot of the food selection since last year, a lot of my favorites are missing from the menu. You might have to wait until the festival opens to get some reviews because of that. However these were some of my favorites that still remained this year.

Urban Farm - Watermelon Salad with Pickled Onions, B&W Gourmet Farms Baby Arugula, Feta and Balsamic Reduction
China - Beijing-style Candied Strawberries
Japan - Frushi Fresh Pineapple, Strawberry and Melon Rolled with Raspberry Coconut Rice, sprinkled with Toasted Coconut and Whipped Cream on the side

Everything at THE SMOKEHOUSE: Barbecue and Brews in the American Pavilion. I ordered one of everything (food wise) on the menu last year and then went back for more. It was all amazing! Can't wait to go back here this year and stuff my face again.

I am looking forward to trying the Frushi!

I've gone through the menus and am most excited about La Isla Fresca, France and Pineapple Promenade (for the violet lemonade).

I must be the only person on the planet that did not love the frushi. It wasn't bad but I certainly won't get it again. :-)

Our favorites from last year were the Watermelon Salad, Frushi (I got this a few times... lol), and my hubby really enjoyed the Pineapple hot dog.

We have tried the Violet Lemonade (it did taste like the flower smells). I tried the dole whip with the rum and if it would have mixed better it would have been great but it was more like a dole whip followed by a shot of rum.

And we enjoyed a few from the booth that is no longer offered this year. My kids really like the Belgium waffles (no matter the topping, but that could have been our visit to F&W)

Another one who loves the watermelon salad, with a nice glass of white wine too. Last year there was an Ireland booth that had a great lemon tart thing but it's not going to be there this year. The Belgium waffles were at F&W, sadly cause I loved them. I can usually find something at every booth worth getting but as others have said, you should probably wait until it opens and some reviews and pictures start coming in.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm noting them on my passport and looking forward to seeing some reviews soon.

Love the watermelon salad, the Dole whip with rum, and the La Vie en Rose drink in France! I'm also excited to try the Hugo drink at Bauernmarkt because we had those in Germany and loved them!
