So I'm trying to come up with a plan on what scrapbook pages I want to make for my upcoming Disney Trip and which pictures I would need to make a great page!!! (how's that for anal) :thumbsup2

Anyhow, I have a pretty big list already going but I need some ideas for the World Showcase. Truthfully, up until now....I really had no interest in Epcot (except a few things here & there) But I have to say....after looking at all these beautiful pictures and scrapbook pages on here, Epcot is right up there on my priority list and I can't wait. My plan is to make a two page spread on each country. But to tell you the truth, I really don't remember much about the countries and what picture opps they each have. Can ya help me?

Here is what I have so far (and believe me it's not much)!!!! I know I want to get the main building in each country but aside from that, what else is a must have to take a pic of?

United Kingdom
Red Phone Booth

Canada

Japan

China

Germany

Norway

Morocco

USA

Mexico

France

Italy

Just please fill in the blanks for me. Thanks so much for your help!!!

Each country has a kodak picture spot where if you take a photo from it then you look like you are in the country (I believe that is the purpose). In Canada there is also the totem poles to stick your head\s through. In England you can get nice pictures in the gazebo and garden. Also insiode the toy store in Pooh's house- normally Pooh and friends are taking pictures but if not then you can take a picture of yourself with that background.

If you have kids get pictures of them at the kidcot stops.

Get the train near Germany.

I love to just find a seat and look around. There are so many interesting places to take pictures of great landscapes and architecture. So many great shots in the gift shops as well

My favorite photo op is hats. Sombreros in Mexico, Viking helmets in Norway, Moose ears in Canada, Fez in Morrocco, Beret in France, etc.

Waterfall in Canada, the arch in Japan, fountains and tile work in Morocco, fountain in Italy.

On my last trip, I had an extra guest - there is this little 4 inch tall bendy guy (impossible to describe) who is our work mascot - whenever someone goes on vacation they take him along and take pictures of him and then the plan is I'll make a scrapbook of his adventures. I'll be starting that any day now. Anyway, I wanted to get him in each country of the World Showcase next to iconic symbols of each, mainly in the gift shops.

Japan: Kimono, bonsai tree
American Adventure: red white and blue hat, presidential action figures.
Morocco: unique shoes, fountain, tilework
France: sculpture, artists easel, mini Eiffel Tower, gargoyle in Impressions de France
UK: suit of armor, red phone booth
Canada: totem pole, stuffed animal dressed as Mountie
Mexico: pinata, sombrero, maraca, paper flowers
Norway: big troll, little trolls, helmet,
China: Buddha, stone lion(is it a lion?) outside the shop
Germany: Cuckoo clock, beer stein
Italy: Masquerade masks, Italian chocolate, wine

I like taking close ups of the architechural elements. If you do, make sure you know what country they were taken in because I've not always remembered where I took them;)

Great thread idea :) We didn't even have time to venture into WS on our last trip so I don't know what to expect (I was there at 17 yo in 1991 but I barely remember it).
