Must do restaurants for DLR first timers?

If you can afford it I would strongly recommend doing Carthay for WoC over a WCT package. Much better food, service, and atmosphere.

For a snack, you must enjoy a Tigger Tail or another fresh candy from the store in Critter Country (near the exits of Splash Mountain and Winnie the Pooh).

I am a DLR newbie planning a trip for next June. Thank you OP for making this thread because I am jotting down all of the different suggestions for our stay :goodvibes. We are big into TS restaurants especially the signature and character meals (my girls will be 12 and 10 at the time of our trip) and cannot wait to try some of these. The only one I knew that we are definitely going to try was the Blue Bayou (have read about that before) and the Tigger Tails (since we can't get those in WDW) :cool1:.

I have heard that Carthay is really good. The only thing holding me back from Carthay is my kids! The menu that I saw on allears.net doesn't work for them...ughhh!

I will have to remember this store! What exactly is a Tigger Tail?

Hi ArchOwl! My kids are 19 and 21...haha. I am going to have them check out the menu...the rib eye (which seems to be the most expensive) would work for my son but without the blue cheese but I'm not sure what my daughter would eat except for the $22 (!!) burger or possibly the pasta with chicken meatballs. I of course think the menu looks great. Any recommendations?

Thanks!
