FI and I planned a camping trip to Muskegon this weekend and were planning on going to Michigan's Adventure. However, they changed their dates, and now it is closed the day we would go there (and just the ride park is open on the next day). If anyone is from this area or knows what else there is to do there, any tips would be GREATLY appreciated! We have an entire day now with nothing to do. Even if we had to drive half hour or so to do something (like to Grand Haven or Grand Rapids or wherever). We are looking for something fun, not really into going to the beach all day (though we may go for a little while).
Thanks so much!

There is lots to do in the area.

Muskegon - Hackley and Hume Homes to tour. There are several state parks for hiking. Not sure what else.

Grand Haven has lots of little shops to go through and a great Martinie Bar if you like. You can also walk the boardwalk and see the boats.

Grand Rapids - Gerald R. Ford Museum and Van Andel Museum. VA is a great one. Mojos is a piano bar like Jellyrolls but with no class.

You can also come south to Holland. Lots of shops in the downtown area and great places to eat.

Feel free to PM me with any questions. I live in the Holland/GH area so I can be of help.
