I've been running the Autograph Book Thread for a couple of years now, and I wanted to share my latest creation with you. I hope it inspires you and gives you some new ideas for your next book! I created these pages with Photoshop Elements and the amazing digital scrapbooking art of some incredibly talented folks, including Natalie and her design team, Kellybell and her design team, Connie Prince, Lisa Campbell, MJ-AJ, Wyld Peas Designs, Keystone Scraps, the gang at Mousescrappers, and a whole lot of other wonderfully talented and generous folks. Thank you all for continuing to inspire me and for all of your fantastic art! Check it out! :goodvibes

I can tell that you put a lot of work into that album. It looks INCREDIBLE!!! The only thing that can make it look any better is it filled with the signatures. I hope you have a great trip and can fill it to the gills!

Hi Hon
What a great book!:yay:
I can tell you put alot of love and care into it Hon.
Someday this will be a treasured memory.
I just finished making a new booklet for the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival and can't wait to get it printed--this one is for me to use and not my grand-daughter,hope I don't appear foolish traveling around Epcot getting getting stamps and signatures.
Thanks for taking the time to share it with us.
Hugs Mel:hug:

WOW!! That is awesome!! I can't wait for my little girl to be old enough to collect autographs with me (right now she doesn't have the patience to wait in lines!! I love ArtsCow too! We've ordered many canvas's from them. Thanks so much for sharing!! I need to start making a beautiful book like this!

Thank you Amy! I've been working on these for months - adding things on, taking stuff off, and adding in new characters. I finally had to just tell myself to stop and order it so that I could be sure that it would get here in time for my trip. You'll be hearing from me soon when I get ready to start making shirts. ;)

Thank you Mel! I looked at your signature and it looks like we're going to miss each other by two weeks - bummer! I would love to see a picture of your new Flower and Garden Book. This will be my first time at the Flower and Garden Festival and I'm really looking forward to it (I love to garden)! I don't think anyone will look twice at you for getting stamps and signatures. Everyone is a kid at WDW! :goodvibes

Hang in there, AllieSue! My boys will be 8 and 5 for this trip and will finally be at a good age for autograph collecting (my youngest was too small the last time that we went). When you're ready, come join us on the Autograph Book Thread for directions, tips, and cool ideas! :goodvibes

You're welcome, and good luck with your book! :goodvibes

Trudie, your book is fabulous! I have wanted to make one and you inspired me to go ahead and try it.
I have a question though. When I uploaded the pages I designed it said the dpi should be 300. Are yours 300 or do I not even have to worry about that?

Trudie-
That autograph book is absolutely FABULOUS!!! We are going again in January so I can start working now-what a great inspiration!!

Thanks! They are always a work in progress, so you can never start too early. ;)

Go for it! It's really a lot of fun! Since I made them myself, all of my pages are full size 12x12 inches, 300dpi, which is standard for digital scrapbooking. They can print them at a lower resolution, but the images will not be as sharp. HTH! :goodvibes

Thanks Trudie! I figured out how to transform the pics in Corel so now they're 300dpi. I appreciate your advice!

Trudie-
I have a few questions and I hope you don't mind answering them. I'm totally inspired by your autograph book and want to make one (or two) for our next trip in January. But I'm really new to scrapbooking and to artscow so I'm don't understand how you got all those great "scrapbook" looking elements into your autograph book. Would you mind explaining it to me? Do I have to buy the images, did you cut and paste the images. I recognized alot of the autograph card designs as some I actually used in my book for this past trip-did you cut and paste those? If it's too much to explain just tell me to buzz off!! But thanks so much in case!:flower3:

The short answer to your question is that I loaded each page onto Artscow already completely finished. Each individual page is a 12x12 digital scrabooking page that I designed from the papers up in Photoshop Elements 8. All of the cards, papers, and elements that I used I gathered from multiple scrapbooking sources over the course of 8-10 months. Most of them were free or deeply discounted, and every time I found a new element, cluster, or paper I would get inspired to do something new with it. I have been playing with these designs for months. I will PM you a few of the sites that I would recommend to help you get started, but I warn you that it gets to be quite the obsession after a while! :goodvibes

Wow, looks great. thanks so much for shaing. :goodvibes

Are any of these pages available to download? I really like some of your designs and would like to use some in my daughter's autograph book for her October trip

Thanks Penny! It's hard to believe that I have come so far after just accidentally wandering in here a couple years ago and thinking "Wow, I wish I could do that!" :goodvibes

I'm sorry, but my pages use so many kits from other designers that are for Personal Use Only that I can't make them available for public use. I don't want to accidentally infringe on anyone's Intellectual Property rights! :goodvibes

Great job! Your book is awesome!

Thank you so much! :goodvibes
