Just wondering what song everyone used in their wedding video for the part where they show old pictures. We are doing between 25 and 30 songs starting with my and my DH parents wedding pictures, pictures of us as children, then when we met, different vacation pictures and finally our engagement picture.

We need a song about 3 minutes long and I was just wondering what everyone else used. Stan was our video person.

Thanks,
Linda

Linda video music is sooooo hard! I had the worst time with it because everyone had such great suggestions but none of them seem to really fit and I got so stressed over it.

Without seeing the pictures or the video its hard. It really sucks that most of the songs about photographs have really depressing lyrics.

I would just pick a song that makes you smile :goodvibes

I like the parent trap soundtrack. I don't know if you want something fast or slow but maybe something like Do you believe in magic? This will be an everlasting love? L-O-V-E?

You are right. Songs about photographs are very sad. We are looking for something fast and up beat. We spent a few hours listening to music last night. I will post our final decission.

Thanks,
Linda

Linda -- We used "When You Say Nothing At All" for the picture montage at the beginning. Other songs we used throughout were "When You Wish Upon a Star", "I've Had the Time of My Life", the love theme from "Somewhere in Time", "Baby's Walk" (an instrumental interlude from Dirty Dancing" and "The Way You Look Tonight".

Everyone who has seen our video really liked "When You Say Nothing At All" for the picture montage.

Morning Cam - I just listened to When You Say Nothing At All and it is a beautiful song. I was not familar with it but it is very nice. We have also though of When You Wish Upon A Star and I've Had The Time Of My Life.

Not sure if you have ever heard of the Disney song called Making Memories. It is on their CD The Happiest Celebration on Earth 2 Disk Set and it is from Journey Into Imagination. It starts out - Making memories, making memories, taking pictures is making memories, catching little pieces of time - making them yours, making them mine. It is a very upbeat song - to a kind of ragtime beat. There is something about it that I just love and I had Sheldon listen to it the other night. I am going to send it over to Stan today to listen to it and see what he thinks.

So, how did your DVD from Stan come out and did you go with the blu-ray version? We are just so late with getting him everything. Work and home has been a little crazy and we just never sat down to do this.

I'll let your know our final decission on the music.

Thanks all for your input.

Linda
