We're hoping our 2 year old can sleep in the Murphy beds at the Poly and VGF on our upcoming trip. Does anyone recall approximately how high off the floor the Murphy beds are when open? Are you able to request rails that can fit on them if needed?

worst case u can pack the undersheet with extra pillows or clothes/stuffed animals and it will stop them rolling close the the edge kinda like when people use a pool nooble insted of a baby rail

I never did this b/c my son preferred the sleeper sofa but the mattress at the Poly could be disconnected from the platform-so if the child was rolling off or scared you could disconnect it an place it on the floor with the Murphy bed closed (and then put it away in the morning)

I don't think rails are necessary.

The murphy bed is narrower than a twin bed. They call it bunk sized (or longer than a crib, but still as narrow).
