If I have a FP for Muppet vision, will I bypass the pre-show video? Trying to determine when I will be leaving muppet show if I have a 12:05 FP.

Thanks!

We've never done a FP+ for Muppet Vision, as it doesn't need one. But from my memory of where the FP+ entrance is, it takes you right to the same spot. So no, I don't think you'd skip the pre-show video. There'd be nowhere for you to go anyway until the currently running show was over. I think the show is roughly 15 minutes, so whenever the show starts that's how long it will take for you to get out.

I don't know I've ever seen Muppets theater more than 1/2 full, so maybe try to switch your FP+ for something else?

Yeah, I should probably think about that. We're not interested in Star Tours and have ToT already. Maybe Frozen sing a long or Indiana Jones? Do you have a suggestion on one of those over Muppets?

If you've got a FP for Muppet Vision, you're doing it wrong. That, Turtle Talk, and most shows are a complete waste of a FP. There is absolutely no advantage to using a FP on any of them. Try to switch it out for Star Tours, Tower of Terror, or any other tier 2 FP.

LOL, I'll try not to take that personally! o_O I assume you're not talking about shows like Nemo or FoLK at AK being a waste of an FP, right? So, for HS, since we're not interested in Star Tours and already have ToT, the other options are really just shows. Would Frozen sing a long or Indiana Jones make more sense?

See the red signs to left and right. Left is FP+ and goes direct into hallway. Right is SB and it goes direct into hallway most the time. IF a line does form (rare) it loops to right of building. Once past the turn-style that has always been there everyone goes the same route together into the preshow. We never get a FP+ for it.

Muppet Vision is one of my favorites, even though it is in need of some serious updates. You don't need fastpass for it now, but i remember when we would go as teens and that queue was forever long.

Probably depends on your crowd. My son loves the Indiana Jones show but would rather do anything else than endure more Frozen stuff. Personally, I like the Frozen show... mainly because it's an a/c venue, Indy is not.

We really enjoyed the Frozen show! It pokes a LOT of fun at the movie - the "historians" are comedians with (we guessed) experience in improv. At one point, I was laughing hard enough my eyes were tearing up!

Your FP would be better spent on Indiana Jones or Frozen. It's rare that the Muppet Vision theater gets that much of a line these days that makes the FP+ worthwhile. So long as you're early enough for the next show you'll catch the pre-show and can generally have a decent choice of seats.

Glad you're not taking it personally, wasn't meant that way. Purely tongue in cheek. Fact is, there's so few attractions at DHS right now, it's hard not to use a FP on a show. BUT, I absolutely did mean shows like FotLK and Nemo. You really get no advantage out of using a FP for those and having a little advantage is what FP is all about. Just get to those theater early and you'll get a good seat. We used FP for Lion King in December and we were still 2/3 of the way up the risers and way off to the side - no advantage over someone who arrived early. Of the two you've mentioned I guess I'd use it for Frozen as that is a bit more popular now than Indy, but to be honest I'd probably just burn it early so I could try to score a second one for ToT after I've used three.

The advantage of FP for shows is that you don't have to line up early for them!

I don't usually use them either, but have done it for Lion King. They had a separate section for the FP folks, so we could just walk in at our scheduled time and sit.

Assuming you're talking your August trip, I'd use it for Indy. I had to wait in line for the show my last trip (May) and it was HOT!!! I'd rather show up later and then go right into the shady stadium. I don't know what the line for Frozen is like though.

The reason why you wouldn't want to waste a fastpass on a show is because the theatre holds so many people that holding a fastpass gives you no advantage. Everyone gets let into the theatre at the same time and the show starts at the same time for everyone. Most of the time a show is rarely ever full and a fast pass won't give you a better seat. If you have a throw away fastpass then by all means use it on a show but if there is absolutely anything else you can use it on then do that.
