That new mummy ride looks fun!!!! Is it really wild? I doubt it goes up-side down. Or does it?

No, the biggest drop isn't even 50 feet.

Does this ride go BACKWARDS? It kind of looks like that in the "preview" on the USF website. Sorry if I am asking a question that has already been asked....just couldn't find it in the Mummy postings....Thank you all.

I haven't done the ride, but I read that there is a short backwards bit with a bit of a drop on the coaster part. I don't like to go on any further otherwise we'll get into spoilers!

I am wondering if this a "jerky" ride....like BTTF? I wonder if it is a HIGH Motion Sickness type of ride.....am I over analyzing this ride or what? he he he!

I read that it was smooth, not jerky - at least not in the way that BTTF is or Thundermountain and so for this reason is not in the "high sick factor"! I did a sick factor for rides a while ago and the mummy came out as a 2 where as BTTF was a 5 if 5 was the sickiest and 1 least sick. I have read that a mum who doesn't do coasters loved the ride. But then she would....it's a ride especially for all the mummies!! hee hee!!!The coaster bit is fast, but as it doesn't spin(think I've got that right)or go upside down, that makes it a great ride for people with weak stomachs!!

Sounds like it'll be a BLAST! I think I get myself MORE nervous before hand than the actual ride itself!! ha ha ha! You should have seen me before my one and only ride on TOT!! ha ha ha! DH is TRYING to convince me to ride it again.......ha ha ha!
