Mummy Grand opening.....

FYI....link no good...got an extra "." after com;)

www.screamscape.com also has pictures and a report from Lance. They even got coverage on the local news down here in South Florida.

Thanks for the link!! I loved looking at the pictures! Looks like everyone had a great time! :)

Thanks for the link SH, wish I could have been there, looked like a beautiful Florida evening even with the curse about to befall all those unsuspecting riders!:p

WE just came home the 19th and missed the grand opening BUT we got to ride it ANYWAY...they were doing the second eound of technical rehearsals while we were there and it was AWESOME!! I still like Spidey better, but DH thinks this is better.....but he is a coaster freak

we got to ride on Tuesday the 18th twice, and it was different both times. it seemed as though they were still tweeking the timing. We were surprised to see the differences when we rode it on friday the 21st. the animatronics and fire effects were much better. we rode twice on the 21st and the second time there were some delays in the timing of the attraction- it was a bit off. seems like even with all the technical rehersals, there is still some tweeking to be done.

Overall, we really enjoyed the ride and look forward to riding it again in the future.

Thanks for the link, SpideyHulk - I can't wait to ride it !!!!

What is in the building to the left of ROTM that says "Paradise" on it? This was once the building where they previewed IOA before it opened - am curious as to what it is now - is it part of ROTM??

It is the extended queue for RotM.

Thanks, Slacking - guess we won't have to stand out in the heat like we did for Kong!!:smooth:

Man, I miss Kong, but the mummy looks great. 3 more months, 3 more months.
