February 1st: Italian food for days
We got to Epcot and I was basically obsessing over the flowers. Like usual. Flower and Garden is going to be dangerous. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Anyways
Yours truly. And wow Mum actually took a good picture for once .
I noticed Pluto was out with no line so of course I had to go say hi. And yes that is the quick crap job I did with dodging the picture. Didnt realize that it looked that bad.
We had an ADR coming up soon so we made our way into World Showcase.
Photooooo shoot.
We checked in early, which wasnt a problem, but because we booked the ADR that morning, it wasnt on the list. Good job, Disney.
ADR hint. And the title pretty much gives it away soooo.
We were seated pretty quickly and our server was good. I dont remember much about him. He wasnt even that cute, which was disappointing.
We split the calamari first. That stuff is really good.
Then we split a margherita pizza which is like heaven on earth.
AND THEN FOR DESSERT...
MY/OUR ALL TIME FAVE BALLS WERE BACK HOLLA.
I LOVE YOU.
After we pigged out, we walked to Morocco and checked out Spice Road Table. And like no one was there LOLOLOL.
We walked back to Italy after looking around in Japan so I (aka Mum) could get some stuff for people back in MA.
And then we decided to head out of the park. It was a very short Epcot trip but WHATEVER. #dislife
Before we actually left, we went on SSE.

February 8th: A rainy morning featuring pancakes and other things
We parked at the Poly on this fine rainy morning because we had an ADR at Kona for breakfast.
We checked in and didnt wait for too long to be seated.
Our waiter was very weird. He was extremely awkward and I just didnt like him. But whatevs.
Mum got the Big Kahuna for her breakfast. She loved everything except the ham because eating ham for breakfast is weird. On the other hand, I disagree.
And I didnt realize my picture of it came out this bad. Ok then.
The point of coming here was the meal that moi wanted, of course.
IT WAS RED VELVET PANCAKE TIME! They have them as a special for the month of February for Valentines Day and they were so good. I was basically in love with the cream cheese frosting. Except they don't give you enough. Just sayin'.
After we ate, I got my twins birthday present (well part of it). She already opened it of course because she is five. If you are wondering, I got her the Stitch Duffy costume. They were almost sold out of them so I had to pick one up.
We then took the monorail to MK to just walk around. It was raining and we really didnt feel like going to a park but WHY NOT.
AND UM NO ONE WAS AROUND.
We went on CoP to get out of the rain and then browsed through like every gift shop.
I found these new bookmarks in Storybook Circus. Of course I got the Chip and Dale ft not stoned Donald one.
After we walked around, we headed to the exit and I saw Mr. Penguin was out with no line so I had to meet him. I look really awkward in the picture though.
We took the monorail to the Contemporary and got off because I was really thirsty and wanted a drink.
While I drank God knows what, we watched these idiots that were filming this family that was skipping around the Chef Mickeys entrance. It looked really stupid and I am guessing it was a MyMagic+ commercial thingy. Cause those are stupid soooo.
We hopped back on the monorail and headed to the Poly.
And since Mum thought that I looked so cute, she wanted to take some pictures of me.

February 14th (part 1): The Swank, the chicken, and the fireworks
So we booked a room at the Swan that day. The day of. #dislife
Mum could get a wicked good discount off the room so WHY NOT. And plus half off food at the Swank and the Fish WHAT NOW.
We got to the Swan and um WHERE WAS THE SECURITY GATE I WAS NOT USED TO THIS.
And um you have to pay for parking.
I dont think so.
At least they have Stacey!
We checked in and the CM told us our room was on the 8th floor but our room was 316, which made no sense whatsoever.
We decided to check out the 8th floor and we asked another CM where our room would be and it was on the 3rd floor. Ummm.
So here is the room. My thoughts will come in a second.

Now, dont get moi wrong. The Swank and the Fish are really nice hotels and I know many people love them, but I wasnt that impressed with the room. It was just so plain and it smelled a little weird. I just didnt get the Disney feel, and I KNOW I was technically not at a Disney resort. I just couldnt imagine paying almost $250 for that room when I could stay at Riverside or something for cheaper. Now, I aint hatin on the Swank or the Fish, even though I think they look extremely tacky behind the Boardwalk, but they are just not for moi.
And I am sorry, but those hallways <<<<
We were getting really hungry so we decided to walk to Epcot to get a snack. At least the location is perfect.
We each got a cronut, ate it, said hi to Valentines Day Duffy .
and then walked to the exit so we could take a bus to the Fort.
We got to the Fort and the internal bus was PACKED. And the bus driver said to me Be sure you take a lot of pictures! There will be a lot of dancing!
Not going to the Hoop but whatever ..
Actually, we were getting fried chicken. #livinitup on Valentines Day.
I know you are jealous.
But for some ridiculous reason, our food took SOOOOO long. I dont know what the deal was. Usually we get our food about 15 minutes after ordering but this took like 45 and I was STARVING.
Thank God you are amazing.

And thank GOD that boat was enclosed because it was getting CHILLAY.
It was almost time for Wishes and of course, Main St was nuts so at the last minute, I thought of a perfect place to watch it that would not be crowded at all.
PUNZIES PEE PEE STATION!
I had seen pictures of fireworks from the best toilets evah before and it looked really cool with the lanterns.
But I didnt have my tripod. Not cool.
So I just started off using auto with no flash like I did back in the day.
I wasnt that impressed with how my pictures were coming out.
So I did long exposure. Freehand. Not even kidding.
I set the shutter for about 2 or 3 seconds because I knew I wouldnt be able to sit still for longer. It was already hard enough to do it for 2. And I couldnt move an inch. It was lovely. My back wasnt killing moi or anything from the position I was in .
Have to say, pretty happy with how these came out considering I did it freehand.
I still have to work on my aperture settings but as you can see, the pictures came out pretty good, which makes moi happy.

February 14th (part 2): Car crashes and feels everywhere
After Wishes, we went to see my BFFs aka the 999 happy haunts. There was only a 10 minute wait so a trip to my Mansion needed to happen.
Then I REALLY wanted to go on IASW and of course it crapped out while we were in line. We decided to wait though. After technical came and a bunch of managers, we were all set.
GUYS IT IS MR PANDA!
Stoned hippo FTW!
Kinda obsessed with these light thingys.
MY GURLLLS.
Then we went into the Enchanted Forest because um MINE TRAIN. I knew I wasnt going to be able to see it that well BUT it had to happen. After I saw the pictures of the walls down, I basically crapped myself and had a heart attack.
Sorry for the total crap pictures but MINE TRAIN! (more will be coming soon)
We went around the front and peeked through the holes like we always do and I died.
When the Mine Train opens, I will have a legit heart attack from the awesomeness. I JUST CANT WAIT.
We went on Pooh next because it was a walk on YEAHHHH.
Then we literally went on the Tomorrowland Speedway. Not even kidding.
You wouldnt think that those cars would be hard to drive, my oh my GOD. I thought we were going to crash or something!
Mum took some great pictures of moi throughout our lovely drive. They are blurry but I LITERALLY CANT. And yes I was driving. Fun times .
Guys, it was awful. Never again.
We walked through the Hub and on over to Frontierland.
Had to say hi to my BCFs first!
We stopped in the pin store (whose name is totally escaping moi at the moment) and I just love this St. Pattys Day pin.
We decided to go on BTMR even though it was SO chilly out. It was probably in the high 50s and it was windy so that was not cool. But #YOLOdisney.
It was after midnight at this point and we were both pretty tired and it was JUST SO COLD so we decided to head to the bus stop.
Crap pic but there was no one around. Seriously, MK was DEAD.
Of course a bus to the Swank and Fish took 5EVAH to get to MK and I was so cold and I just wanted to go back to our room and cuddle with the Duffster.
One came after about 25 minutes, which is WAY TOO LONG GRRR.

February 15th (part 1): Breakfast at Garden Grove
GUYS. I AM BACK.
So yeah. It has been like two weeks since my last update and lets just say I have been busy.
But trust moi when I say I have SO MANY EXCITING THINGS COMING UP! Like, you do NOT want to miss my upcoming updates. It will take moi about 10 years to get to the really exciting things but they are so worth the wait. I have several updates coming your way today and then I will try to write/edit as much as I can.
I mean, the amount of food and fireworks coming up is ridiculous. And flowers. And private islands. And parades. Ya know. The usual.
But lets get to these updates. I NEED TO GET GOIN.

We got up, got ready, and went down to Garden Grove for the character buffet breakfast. We were getting half off food this morning. BOO YA.
They do not take ADRs so get there as early as possible. We only had to wait about 10 minutes.
We were seated in the middle of the restaurant and our waitress was just ok. Nothing special.
I was starving so we went up to get food right away.
Here are some pictures of the buffet.
We got our food and Pluto was waiting for us when we got back.
They have two characters out usually and Goofy was the other one. My pic with him came out like total crap though. I have food in my mouth and I look like one of my BCFs. It aint cool.
Here is my plate.
Everything was good, except the eggs. They were kinda runny and just all in all nasty.
We went back up to get more food. I was busy taking pictures of the buffet when Mum was getting her food and then I gave my camera to her when she went back to the table. And she actually took a food pic. I FELT SO PROUD!
After we were done eating, we took our bags to the car and then went back out to the Boardwalk & Co.
We went into the Yacht Club and looked in their gift shop.
I love this water bottle thingy. It is so cute. They really need more merch for the Yacht Club.
After we made the loop around, we went back to the Swank parking lot and drove on over to MK.
We parked and took the tram to the TTC, like usual.
Mum stopped and looked at moi and was like DID YOU FORGET YOUR TRIPOD?!
Oops.
So we hopped back on the tram and we were the only ones on it. Got to cross that off my Disney bucket list!
And I couldnt stop laughing. Dont ask why.
So they dropped us off and I ran down to the car to get my tripod while Mum waited in the tram line. And lets just say that the tram was PACKED when we went back to the TTC.

They have two characters out usually and Goofy was the other one. My pic with him came out like total crap though. I have food in my mouth and I look like one of my BCFs. It aint cool.
Here is my plate.
Everything was good, except the eggs. They were kinda runny and just all in all nasty.
We went back up to get more food. I was busy taking pictures of the buffet when Mum was getting her food and then I gave my camera to her when she went back to the table. And she actually took a food pic. I FELT SO PROUD!
After we were done eating, we took our bags to the car and then went back out to the Boardwalk & Co.
We went into the Yacht Club and looked in their gift shop.
I love this water bottle thingy. It is so cute. They really need more merch for the Yacht Club.
After we made the loop around, we went back to the Swank parking lot and drove on over to MK.
We parked and took the tram to the TTC, like usual.
Mum stopped and looked at moi and was like DID YOU FORGET YOUR TRIPOD?!
Oops.
So we hopped back on the tram and we were the only ones on it. Got to cross that off my Disney bucket list!
And I couldnt stop laughing. Dont ask why.
So they dropped us off and I ran down to the car to get my tripod while Mum waited in the tram line. And lets just say that the tram was PACKED when we went back to the TTC.

February 15th (part 2): "I smell better than that reindeer guy."
I got some Le Fous brew and we chilled in Gastons for a few.
After I drank heaven, we went over to Gastons line. We usually just like to listen to what he says to people cause he is perfect and hilarious.
This little girl was next and she was dressed up as Anna. Gaston leaned down and said
I smell better than that reindeer guy.
LIKE JUST STOP IT.
We took the train around the park next.
We made the loop around and then just chilled in Tomorrowland for a little bit. We got a drink and just sat down in front of the Laugh Floor.
Then we went into the Laugh Floor and yeah. Dont remember much about that #goodnotes
We went to the Plaza after we got out and got a sundae. Or something. Who knows.
There was this CM behind the counter who had her sleeves rolled up and she had a GIANT tattoo. Mum saw it first and then really loudly, Mum said to moi OH MY GOD LOOK AT HER TATTOO THAT IS NOT THE DISNEY LOOK and then the CM looked at Mum and disappeared into the back. GOOD.
We brought our ice cream over to the Tomorrowland Terrace and we basically stopped in our tracks when we saw the disaster.
Right before we went into the Plaza, we saw a giant tour group up there.
And we saw the aftermath of them.
I had to take pictures because people wouldnt believe moi.
I was appalled.
Stuff was everywhere. And it was really windy so stuff was flying all over the place. I said to mum that if I had gloves, I would be cleaning that mess up. She agreed.
It is rant time.
I was disgusted by this. Like, there are at LEAST 10 trash cans at that place and you cant manage to throw your crap away?! It is not that hard. It is not a cast members job to clean up after idiots when they already have enough to deal with. I do not understand why Disney doesnt see that tour groups just cause all of these problems when Disney is giving these groups tons of discounts left and right for them to come to the parks. Like, yeah, it is good for the tourism industry BUT WE DO NOT NEED THESE IDIOTS AT OUR PARKS. AT ALL. They cause a bunch of problems and they are just rude.
Ok. End of rant.
This one lonely CM came over and he was just standing there like oh crap.
More people came over after and once they were almost finished, we went over to the first CM and talked to him for a bit. And then we went to City Hall to put in a good word for him. We are nice people.
The flag retreat was starting when we got out of City Hall so we stopped and watched it.
We made our way to Art of Disney and Larry Dotson was out. I have seen him before but never really looked at his work. He had some amazing Haunted Mansion pieces and one of them matched my bedroom perfectly so I got it. I needed it, OK?! He signed it for me and we talked to him for awhile. He was really nice!
We headed to Tomorrowland and got a burger to split at Cosmic Rays. There were so many nice CMs in there! They were great.
We walked around the park for a bit afterwards.

February 15th (part 3): The things I do for fireworks...
After we explored that treehouse, we got a spot for Wishes. It was PACKED that night and I really wanted to shoot Wishes. It needed to happen. So we waited for three hours. #dislife #photographerlife
We found the most perfect spot in front of the Plaza at one of the yellow and white tables and we could actually SIT DOWN YES!
While I waited, Mum got moi a red velvet waffle from Sleepy Hollow. It was perfect.
But that ice cream did not help the weather situation.
Now, I know I am a Floridian and all and when it is 60 out, I find it to be chilly, but I am not even exaggerating when I say that it was SO COLD OUTSIDE. It was probably high 40s and I just had my jean jacket on with my Snow and Prince tank top and I was freezing. I had to run to the Emporium a few times so I could get some warmth.
And they didnt have the blanket anymore for the merch offer (pay x amount, get something for x amount) and all of the other blankets were like $50! Not happening. I was going to have to freeze.
The things I do for fireworks
While we waited, these ducks were attacking each other under our table and chasing each other and they kept hitting us.
And then I almost got hit by a stroller on Main Street on my way to the Emporium.
It was awesome.
MSEP was starting and this GIANT CRAPPIN TOUR GROUP came right behind us and was trying to push their way to the front. I DONT THINK SO I HAVE BEEN HERE FOR TWO HOURS THUS FAR.
The woman next to moi started yelling at them, thank God.
But they probably didnt speak English.
And they had no personal space whatsoever.
Like I said. THE THINGS I DO FOR FIREWORKS.
After three looooong and cold hours, IT WAS FINALLY TIME.
Well CTM first...
BUT THEN WISHES!
I am SO proud with how some of these came out and I think they are my best firework shots to date. I still have work to do on the settings for the finale but whatever. I just love some of these.
Backstage was open behind the Plaza so we went back there. You wind up at the Confectionary so we went in there to get warmth. I was shivering, and I am not even lyin.
There was this woman in there that had a Shellie May so we said to her that we liked it (cause Shellie May >>>>>>) and then she basically told us her whole life story and we were like ok then GET US OUTTA HERE. Like she wouldnt shut up. At all. We finally out of the conversation, thank GOD.
Of course the monorail was insanity. What else is new. THANKS DUFFY OBSESSED WOMAN.

February 21: Time to get our Irish onnnn
We got to DTD around 4. Parking wasnt horrible yet, thank the Lord.
We looked around in TrenD for a few.
They have a lot of new shirts out.
And with the construction at the former Team Mickey, they have to have a wall up. And they decorated it. I have nothing to say.
Our friend Morgan was at DTD and she is the co-owner of Cover Bands, which is basically perfect. They are stickers for your Magic Bands and I have two because obsessed. We talked to her for awhile and she actually had 8 managers stalking her because she was giving the Cover Bands to people because it was princess half weekend and she had a limited edition design. Fun times.
We walked over with her and her son to Raglan Road. We had an ADR there and they had one for a little later. We said goodbye and then checked in.
WDW.com didnt have any open times for Ragland Road on this night but they also have a limited number of ADRs anyways. We went on to opentable.com and they had a ton of times open. None of the restaurants at DTD are owned by Disney so always check out other sources for ADRs!
They were playing The Script in there. HOW FITTING.
We were seated at one of those bar tables, which was good because we had a great view of the dancers.
It is so pretty in there.
For dinner we split the appetizer sample thingy. I forget what it was called exactly but whatever. #lazy
It had the nom nom wings, scallops, sausage, and those things in the bottom left. I forget what those were. Everything was really good and it is just enough to split between two people.
For dessert, we split the bread pudding. It was excellent, but it had way too many raisins. Nothing beats the bread pudding from Ohana, but this was great. I especially loved the sauces it came with.

We went down to West Side to look at D Street because I saw on Instagram that they had a ton of new Hipster Mickey merch out and I WANTED IT ALL. I left with a shirt and two postcards.
After I bought my stuff, we went to Art of Disney to look around. I wanted everything, but what else is new.
We decided to leave after that because DTD at night <<<<<

March 1st (part 1): Chicken burgers and birds
I was craving a chicken burger badly. Like, I NEEDED ONE.
So we went to Art for lunch on this fine Saturday.
I WAS IN HEAVEN.
Mum just got a burger. How original.
After we ate, we went out to the Cars section because Mum hadnt seen it before.

Sally was out but Lightning McQueen had walls all up around him. I heard that his painting was peeling off so maybe they are fixing that or something.
THOSE CONES THO.
After we were done looking around, we drove on over to Animal Kingdom.
Safari Duffy was out!
I did some pin trading and then we went over to Flights of Wonder. We had never seen it before and even though birds really dont excite moi, I wanted to do it.
And I actually really enjoyed it! Even with the humor and stuff, it is a great show and they showed a lot of cool birds. It was really interesting and I would recommend it to anyone.
They brought some birds out at the end, including the owl, and you could go up and ask questions and stuff.
After the show got over, we got some ice cream at the truck in Asia. I dont know the name of the truck but of course I know its backstory. And I just LOVE all of the details on it. It is just beautiful.

We ate our ice cream right across from the bathrooms in Asia. You know those bathrooms. Yup.
We said hi to our monkey friends on our way to Africa.
It was time for our FP for Kilimanjaro.
We didnt see a ton of animals out, which kinda stunk. And our CM had to be new or something because he did not have that script down. I was about ready to take over.
But animals are cool.
UM CHEETAH ON DA ROCK.
After we got off our truck, we went on over to Africa and Dinoland.

I got my twin a little present in Dinoland and then we chilled by my fave ride evah.
And we may have taken a few selfies because that is how we roll. But they are so embarrassing sooooo.
It was time for our EE FP so we went back over to Asia.
THERE DOESNT SEEM TO BE ANY TRACK.
I really dont know why they didnt put anyone behind us when the wait was 30 minutes but whatever. Good job, Disney.
After EE, we headed to zee exit.
