June 30th (part 3): THE GRAND FLORIDIAN 1 BEDROOM VILLA
We went outside and we were headed to the boat but it was closed due to the weather.
Rainforest Café from a distance.
Disney Springs construction? Meh.
We went over to the Pleasure Island bus stop and caught a bus over to Saratoga.
And of course, they had to switch out the drivers. They always do at PI, so I knew that, but it is just ridiculous. Note: we got on the bus at 3:10.
After they switched out the drivers, we stopped at Typhoon Lagoon.
GRRRR.
I was thinking that no one was going to get on a TL, but people actually did. And they all had no shoes on. LIKE REALLY. So the bus driver was like DUDE [he never said that] where are yo shoes?! (he wasnt a gangster)
They were like well can we put our shoes on on the bus?!
And he was like yeah dudes.
Like how ridiculous!
We finally were on our way to Saratoga when we got stuck at the longest traffic light in the history of traffic lights. Like it was that long.
At this time, it was creeping up on 4. We NEEDED to be at Saratoga before 4 and that just wasnt going to happen. I was praying the bus would let off at The Springs first and THANK THE LORD UP ABOVE IT DID. We got off at the Springs at almost 3:50. 40 minutes to get to Saratoga which is like two seconds from DTD. Ridiculous.
Once we got off the bus, we ran to the DVC preview center.
We got inside and went to the front desk and asked if we could check out the Grand Floridian models. You had to be there before 4 for the tour and it was like 3:55. BOO YA.
After we checked in, we headed into the little lounge type area where they had seating and refreshments.
They had cookies, lemonade, iced tea, coffee, and tea. Of course I got a cookie. #eatingmachine
About 5-10 people were there for the tour, including us. So it was a small group.
At about 4:05, our CM came in, who was earning her ears, and brought us across the street into the building holding the models. She lead us to the GF models and just let us go and explore them.
And then this is when I DIED.
We looked at the 1 bedroom first and I was like OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!!!!! the whole entire time. The villas were THAT amazing. You can take pictures in there, so being moi and all, I went picture CRAZY.
(So these will all be the 1 bedroom)
The bathroom.
Like stop.
THE MIRROR TV SO YOU CAN WATCH STACEY WHILE TAKING A POOP YAY.
Then we saw the shower and Mum was like You could have a party in here! It was HUGE.
So she danced in the shower.
Then someone came in so she stopped.
Please, please, no pictures!
Were nuts, deal with it.
MIRROR PIC!
The amazing bedroom.
THE WALK. IN. CLOSET.
CAN WE JUST LOOK AT THAT MARY AND BERT PICTURE PLEASE.
The verandahNEVER A PORCHwith a fake view.
Stop.
The fridge is in there!
The 1 bedroom was INCREDIBLE. It was just gorgeous and I would LOVE to stay in one, but since it is just the two of us, it wouldnt be worth it. But the studio was just as nice! Those pics will be in the next update!
