I think it is more a "we New Englanders can be kind of standoffish at times" thing. I can say this as a true born in MA living in NH New Englander myself.
I have been many other places in my travels and most all the places I have been the people tend to be much more friendly than here at home. I am not saying this is a good or a bad thing but just as an observation.
Perhaps it is in the water or perhaps it is the fact that our ancestors were the puritans but for better or worse it is kind of the truth.
See I'm from NY so that's just a whole other thing

I'm with you about Starbucks. WHY Disney?? Ok, I understand the coffee drinkers out there that wanted better tasting coffee (I don't drink it so I have no stake in that game) but not sure why they went there. (end my rant!)

I would rather Starbucks be in the Writer's Shop. I love that place, but Starring Rolls is so much better and they can't do that.
Of course they will put one in MGM. And then AK, and everyone will be mad that they have to use paper straws with their stupid coffee drinks...

July 1st (part 3): In which the rain gets a little ridiculous
After we got off the TTA, it was pouring, so we ran to take cover in one of the Tomorrowland gift shops whose name is escaping moi right now.
I tried on the Sully ear hat in there. I look like a little fat evil monster.
We looked around the store for a few and then ran through the rain towards Buzz since it was already time to use our FPs.
While on Buzz, we got stuck two times. Probably someone dropped their stuff monkey into the tracks (the other people reference)
Since we were stuck twice, we got a ton of points. If you hit the jack in the box thingy towards the end of one of the rooms, you get a ton of points. Youre welcome for that.
Mum got 59,500 points and I got 36,100 points. Skillz.
We look very focused.
After Buzz, we really didnt know what to do, and I wanted to go to Storybook Circus to check out Big Top Souvenirs/Treats, so we ran through the rain. Mum brought a poncho, cause she is the smart one. Moi, not so much. So I got soaked. Whatevs.
We went inside and it is like the cutest gift shop on property. They have some AWESOME merch in there that I just love. Moi needs it all.

Since I decided I didnt want to get soaking wet, I bought a $8 poncho and I pin traded. They have these awesome pin boards that look like bags of popcorn. It is so cute.
Then we got in line for food since, um, DUH. It moved so slowly though and I was getting impatient, cause all of this delicious stuff was in front of moi, and we had to wait like 20 minutes. The CMs were so slow. Unacceptable.
So I drooled over everything in the meantime.

Mum got a peanut butter cookie, and I think she liked it ?

But really.
After we looked around in there for a bit and ate our snacks, I wanted to go check out Petes Silly Sideshow but the lines were so long. So we headed over to its a small world and the line was like 35 minutes. That was so not happening. Then I wanted to go see the Tangled Toilets and the area was just packed and it was pouring, and it was awful.
So we went into Yankee Traders (I think that is the name of it ) and I got a Haunted Mansion shirt. Here is an awful picture of it. ISNT IT PERFECT?!
After I bought the shirt, we were going to go on the Haunted Mansion but the line was HORRENDOUS.

July 1st (part 4): Main Street perfection
We left MK and got on the monorail to go to the Contemporary, since that is the closest resort.
We headed to the front desk and asked if non-resort guests could use the business center, and they said yes so we made our way to the convention center.
Guys, that place is HUGE. I was like oh my GOD when we walked in there.
We found the business center and two guys were working there. They must get really bored cause that place was DEAD.
Mum got on a computer and printed some stuff out and then faxed them over to our realtor. Printing costs money, but it was no big deal. It was like $4, so not bad at all.
The fax machine was acting a little weird or something, because it took 3 tries to send the papers. I dont know what was up.
We headed back to the lobby and rested our feet for a few. And plus I needed to write in my journal, so I did that.
The contemporary lobby smells like the beach club AKA AMAZING!!!! #disneysmells
After about 15 minutes, we headed back up to the monorail to head back to the Magic Kingdom.
HI CASTLE.
We had the monorail car to ourselves, so I sat there and sang opera. I sang When You Wish Upon a Star, I think. Oh, it was so beautiful. Mum clapped for moi for the rest of the ride. No lie.
G FLO DVC CONSTRUCTION OMG.
We got to MK and used the touch to enter thing. You still have to use your finger, but it was really cool!
I skipped through the tunnel and then I saw the wait time to meet the princesses was only 10 minutes so I ran into the Theater and the CM was like it just changed! It isnt 10 minutes! Thank the lord up above she said that cause waiting and moi do not mix.
So we got FPs for later to meet the princesses.
We browsed through some shops on Main Street.
First stop was the Confectionary. We found a rice krispie treat the size of Mums head.
GIMMEE THAT APPLE.
Next we went into Uptown Jewelers and I drooled over the Harvey bags. Especially the Snow White one.
I find this bag extremely funny. But that is an inside joke with Mum that yall wouldnt understand . I mean you would, but MOVING ON.
Just STOP IT.
I want/NEED these shoes.
Not a Harvey bag but just as cute! And for more than half the price
We headed outside and I took the atmosphere in. MAIN STREET IS MY FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WORLD GAHHHH.
We saw a CM drawing this. How cute!!
Next, a very monumental moment in my life happened.
Having corn dog nuggets for the first time. I'm in love.
Monumental, dudes.
JUST LOOK AT THEM.
They were just heavenly. Now, we have been to Caseys twice before and have gotten hot dogs and they were NASTY, but THESE. Guys, if you havent tried them, you need to. They were so good and I wanted to order more. THE NOMS.
While we ate our dinner/snack, we had front row seats for a little concert. And this is why Main Street is perfect.

So we headed towards Liberty Square.
There was a cute baby Disney bunny in the grass! Eeee!

and then it started POURING. I was like ARE YOU KIDDING MOI RIGHT NOW?!?! Seriously, we had been there twice today, and it rained every single time I was there. Its moi, I know it. I HAVE CURSED THOSE TOILETS!!!!
RIGHT when I'm about to take pictures of the Tangled Toilets, it starts POURING. Ugh.
So we ran for cover and into its a small world we went!

We got into our boat and there were like two $8 ponchos left in our row and the woman was just getting out that left them there. So there I was yelling at her ARE THESE YOUR PONCHOS?! I dont think she spoke a word of English. Or she was deaf cause I yelled at her like two times. And then right before we were about to leave the loading zone, she comes running over with a CM looking for the ponchos. Well look at that! And she said thank you, so I guess she was just deaf.

- it's like pretty sure a majority of you knew you were coming to disney so don't tell moi that is the reason you are using your phone

July 1st (part 6): PRINCESS TIME AND THE BEST TOILETS ON PROPERTY
After IASW, we headed to the Town Square Theater to meet the princesses! I was so excited cause I am five years old.
So we made our way through the rain. Oh, it was lovely. And TONS of tour groups were already starting to line up for MSEPidiotslike 2.5 hours before. Dear God.
So we got there and I think I pin traded with a CM right when we got in there. Who knows, really.
We got in the FP line, duh, and only waited for like 5 minutes to get in the room where the princesses meet. A little girl came in right after us and I was DYING of the cuteness. She was dressed us as Cinderella and it was so cute! She was so excited and we let her go in front of us once we got up to the front. GAHHH SHE WAS ADORABLE.
So we made our way into the main room and I pin traded again with a CM for a Soarin FP pin. She said that you can actually use that as a real FP and then you get to keep the pin. Is that even true?!
Little Cinderella went up to meet Cindy first and the whole entire line was like AWWWW! It was the cutest thing I have ever seen. Cinderella spent like 10 minutes with her and Little Cinderella was showing off her hair, her dress, her nails, etc. to Cinderella. And then they were twirling and I WAS DEAD. Aurora spent a long time with her too and it was just so cute. Rapunzel on the other hand
After Little Cinderella met Cinderella, I went up and met Cindy. She asked moi about moving to FL, and she asked if I had found a prince yet. She was a really good Cinderella!
Next was Aurora and she was awesome. Just like Cindy, she asked moi about moving and talked to moi for a while. She was really nice! And I have to say, I really like her new dress!
Last but not least was Rapunzel and Disney did a bad job picking this chick. She looked like her but had NO personality whatsoever. Even with Little Cinderella! She talked to her for like a second and then moved on. Same with moi too. I went up, we took a picture, and then right before I was about to leave she was like pascal and I are having a game of hide and seek right now. Dont tell him where I am! And she said it in like a monotone voice. She was AWFUL.
After we met the princesses, we headed over to the Laugh Floor because we wanted to see the MU additions to the show.
We were in the middle of these two idiot families and being moi of course, I tweeted about them.
Um dude it's not the disney animal park
"Is this a movie?" We are at the laugh floor.
What's at Hollywood studios?" "I think the twilight zone." "What else?" "I don't know. We should do our research tonight."
These people are killing me. Like get me away
LIKE HOW STUPID CAN YOU BE.
Anyways, we only waited about like 10 minutes and I thought the MU additions were just going to be in the actual show part. But they were in the pre- show video too!

We got into the theater soon after and LIKE ALWAYS people didnt move down to the end of the row. And Mum was like I am NOT walking over them! Very unpatriotic.
I loved the MU stuff they have in the show now. They still have the same old stuff but now they have jokes and stuff about MU and Mikes nephew says like When I am older, I want to go to MU!
After the show ended, we tried the Tangled Toilets for the THIRD TIME. 3rd time is a charm, right?! Well for some things at least
AND GUYS. IT DIDNT RAIN WHEN WE WERE THERE. FINALLY.

We got there and seriously, that area is off da CHAINZ. They did such a great job with the details and the theming. I was blown away. Over a bathroom.

After we met the princesses, we headed over to the Laugh Floor because we wanted to see the MU additions to the show.
We were in the middle of these two idiot families and being moi of course, I tweeted about them.

Anyways, we only waited about like 10 minutes and I thought the MU additions were just going to be in the actual show part. But they were in the pre- show video too!

We got into the theater soon after and LIKE ALWAYS people didnt move down to the end of the row. And Mum was like I am NOT walking over them! Very unpatriotic.
I loved the MU stuff they have in the show now. They still have the same old stuff but now they have jokes and stuff about MU and Mikes nephew says like When I am older, I want to go to MU!
After the show ended, we tried the Tangled Toilets for the THIRD TIME. 3rd time is a charm, right?! Well for some things at least
AND GUYS. IT DIDNT RAIN WHEN WE WERE THERE. FINALLY.

We got there and seriously, that area is off da CHAINZ. They did such a great job with the details and the theming. I was blown away. Over a bathroom.

They were still around... And then it started pouring while they were sitting there and they all went crazy. And that is why we usually don't go to WDW in July.

Your love for Chick-fil-A makes me appreciate it even more. They have the best chicken. You would probably die at my mall food court--there's Chick-fil-A AND EOS. Heaven!!
Your comment about everyone being nice in FL made me laugh. I'm not too sure I can agree with that, but I've lived in FL my whole life, so I don't know anything else, but I guess people could always be worse.

I love how you can just decide to go to Magic Kingdom and not feel rushed to get everything in. I can't wait for that when I move back to Orlando next year.

I agree with you about Starbucks on Main Street, but hopefully the Dole Whip line will be shorter. I still can't comprehend why anybody would want Starbucks when they can have a dole whip.
