Hi, I can't believe I am asking this question but can more than one person's credit card be put on a single room? I am taking my parents and two aunts down with me next week and I don't have a problem with my parents but one of my aunts likes to buy a lot and is not a good payer. I would just tell her that the room key is not valid for charging but my mother decided we need the dining plan for the first 4 days at $160.00 a person. I tried a search but nothing useful came up. Thanks for any info.

You can only place one credit card on file per room-I know this because my DM wanted to put her own CC on file for her key when we stayed at the Beach Club in 2006 but was unable because I had put mine down on the room already.
I know that you can exclude children from charging priviliges...but I'm not certain if you can exclude adults if they are in the same room with you. You may have to exclude everyone from charging priviliges to prevent any issues.

You can exclude anyone you like from charging privileges. Tell your aunt that she can use her credit card to make just about any purchase she likes at WDW (there are a few locations that only take cash like some of the booths at the water parks and a few other locations at the theme parks).

You can exclude an adult from charging privileges. It will say that on the card. I suppose you'll have to get the $160 check before hand from your aunt or just get her her own room.

We had 4 family members with room charging privileges on my credit card. If someone made a major purchase, we made sure they went to the front desk that evening or the next day to apply their own credit card to that particular purchase. We were able to keep everyone's purchases applied to their own credit card that way.
If your aunt is liable to not pay her portion of the bill, I'd be careful about granting her privileges on your room key/credit card.

Why not just use their own CC for the purchase rather than going through this?

The DDP must be purchased for each person for the full length of stay. You must purchase it from day of check in, until check out. This can be paid for separately at check in by the different individuals, as long as they are present when you check in together. If you decide on the DDP keep in mind it must be ordered through MS at least 48 hours before check in day.

As just stated by previous poster, the DDP should be able to be paid for separately at check in by each person. However, be careful, this is exactly what we thought we were doing just a couple of weeks ago. My mother and I were both present and each presented a credit card for our half of the DDP and each actually signed the cc slip.

However, upon checking my bill upon departure, I had been charged two times (half each) for the DDP and my mother's card was never charged.

At another visit with four of us, we tried separately the charges we each had made (since they were coded according to our room key) and it ended up being a huge mess, taking over one hour to try to straighten out with the front desk. Too much hassle to try to separate charges this way again!

When I travel with friends, we usually just get no charging and everyone is on their own. We did get the DDP one time and each paid separately at check-in, either cash, credit card or disney rewards card. The front desk gave us each a separate receipt as they ran each through.

Thanks for the replies and advice. I think I shall have everyone pay their own dining plan at check-in then have no charging priviledges. Only 10 days till WDW.
